What an amazing way to wake up, indeed. It can be extremely difficult to wait, especially when you don't even know when what you're waiting for is going to come. Now you can move forward knowing that it's only a couple of months before you are in the arms of your spouse. Don't forget to keep us posted here, as you go on with the other process involved. We can learn a few things..

I’m lucky! I spend a lot of time here and she comes and visits me quite a bit. In total we’ve only been apart for 117 days since our wedding day and like 200 since we’ve been apart.

This is definitely an approval. Congrats!! Which site did you see this (old or new)?

Neither! My wife started at US CIS account and received an email this morning saying that action was taken on our case.  We woke up to that email. What an amazing way to wake up!!

Congratulations Mike445. It's funny that just yesterday you didn't feel good with the delays and then the 2months extension at the NSC. And today it's a different story.

Yes I feel a whole lot different this morning!  😂😂

  3. So we received this today on our USCIS account. Is this the NOA2?

Case Was Sent To The Department of State

You can find general information on Consular Processing by visiting our website at www.uscis.gov . The website will provide information on what to do next, who to contact, and how to inform us of any changes in your situation or address.

Anyone know what month nebraska is currently processing? Like not the estimate the USCIS gives us which says they are now prpcessing june filers. Any personal experience or new data?

My receipt date for Nebraska is May 18 2018 and still nothing.  Even after an Outside Normal Processing Time request we got a generic response saying our case is in line to be reviewed and if we have heard nothing in 60 days to call back. The website is WAY off.

Honestly, I was expecting them to change the date range to 10.5 or 11 month soon for Nebraska. I am expecting a canned response as well, it just made me feel like I was trying! I use the case tracker app on my phone and there are over 180 OTHER pending I-130s from the same date as mine all at the Nebraska Service Center. They are simply behind, which is unfortunate. The "10 month" upper range listed is no guarantee!

Kinda intrigued about the case tracker app.Is it in the apple store??

WOW!!  Disregard my previous question. I found it in the Apple store and it is amazing. Thank you! I didn’t know this existed!!

Hi I am sorry to hear about all your trouble . Please read up on my topic created “ Almost In the 300 days club “ . Try to contact different avenues to get a response . The email you received to wait 60 days is an automatic response . I submitted two during this process and was approved one day later after the 2!lnd attempt response

Thank you. As of right now we’re at 307 days.  To be quite blunt it’s really starting to piss me off now. There is NO excuse for this.

Since the USCIS website says that Nebraska Service Center is working on "June 2, 2018" petitions, I decided to submit an inquiry. I completed the form on the website and once I submitted it I got a message (as well as an email) that said:

    "Thank you for your request

USCIS will review and process the request.

    Expect a reply by April 4, 2019."

I was then given a request ID number. I suppose that means it won't be until the 4th that I'll hear something on the inquiry. So basically 3 weeks I'll need to wait for a response on an inquiry. 😒

Allow me to show you what your response will look like.  I cut out all the important stuff but t his was our response to the inquiry...

    Goodmorning May filers,

I just want to encourage everyone including myself, that's waiting for their Notice of Approval from the NSC. I want to urge us not be discouraged or be despaired. I also want us to know that with each day that passes by, we are getting closer to the day when we will all receive our NOA2 and ultimately be with our husbands/wives. Seems like we have 3 more people who are still waiting to hear from the NSC. So that makes us 8 now. So Hardiv, May16 and Emgee, kindly communicate with us here as soon as you receive your NOA2. Have a great day everyone.

Count me in as well.  May 18 2018 was our receipt date.  We filed an Outside Normal Processing Time request and got a canned response saying to call back if nothing is heard in 60 days.

I am an August filer, Nebraska ☹️. Expecting to hear something in June. I have a long way to go. I follow this thread to have an idea of how Nebraska is doing and from all indications they are moving at a snail’s pace. Wishing everyone the best. 🙏🏾

Good luck.  Our receipt date is May 18 2018 and we still haven't heard anything.  We submitted an Outside Normal Processing Time request and got a canned response that says if we haven't heard anything in 60 days to call back...  Nebraska is REALLY slow now.

  10. Just now, LC & MS said:

Thank you so much ! You still haven't received an approval? Your case already 10 months passed.

I really don't know what should I say. Really too slow.....

Nope.  Nothing.  Yeah its getting ridiculous now.  VERY slow.  So here's another year my wife can't go get a real steady job.  I'm gong to pick her up in Arkansas next week.  She'll be working at the KOA campground in Lewiston NY for the season.  Hopefully by then we have some movement and can make the important decisions.  We want to start a family and can't do anything until we have some answers and dates.  Ugh.

  11. My receipt date was May 18 2018 for I-130.  My wife submitted an Outside Normal Processing Time inquiry March 6 and we got a canned response yesterday.  I'll do a cut/paste with all the important stuff cut out.  Hopefully we get some progress soon. Good luck to all.  I just thought I'd show you what the Outside Normal Processing Time response looks like.

  12. If I recall correctly we sent about 20 photos screen captured from facebook with dates and places form the various places we traveled. We sent a good number of wedding photos showing us with both our families. We do have joint bank accounts so I sent that proof as well. We sent copies of my work insurance showing her as my beneficiary and that she is on my work insurance with copies of dental receipts she had done under my insurance.  We sent cards that were addressed to both of us at both my Canadian address and her US address. We obviously sent the marriage certificate.  I think that's about all we sent in.  that being said we still haven't heard anything past NOA1 which was May 18 2018.  Good ol Nebraska.  I'm heading down there for out wedding anniversary (april 7 will be one year) in 2 weeks for a few weeks.  I'm SO excited!  Good luck to you!!

Congratulations! The following steps will be quick. Maybe in 60 days your case can be sent to visa center. The upload related documents including tax..... Then maybe 3 weeks to approve those documents you uploaded, then physical examination, then interview.

Maybe you still need about 4 months to finish your CR1 journey.

I sure hope you're right!! The waiting is becoming tedious!!  I'm going to pick my wife up in Arkansas in a couple weeks then take her to Fort Lauderdale to celebrate our one year anniversary.  She will then come back to Canada with me for a few weeks before I take her back across the border to Lewiston NY to the campground she works at seasonally....the same one I spend every weekend of the summer at.  Luckily I will see her every weekend until the process is over.  Hope fully they get moving and yours will be completed too.

    Mike
