Got the status change online on friday that my AP and EAD were approved and got the hard copies in the mail this morning!

Hi everybody! 168 days later... NEW CARD IS BEING PRODUCED! NOA1 was August 17th, we submitted from New-York and were handled by the National Benefits Center.
I suppose I should receive the card in about a week?!
Lots of courage to those who are still waiting and congratulations to everybody who received their card!

155 here! National Benefits Center is handling my case and still a little far from my NOA1 date unfortunately...

Hi everybody!
I am an August filer, my case had been received on August 28th. I want to give you all a little feedback on my experience with the Visa K1. My NOA2 (approved case) was received on March 2nd. Around April 10th, I got a notification that my case was transferred to the American Embassy in Paris in France. 1 week after that, I was able to schedule my medical exam and my interview.
I just had my interview this Wednesday 16th of May and our visa got approved! I will be joining my fiancé back in our house in New-York in a week when my passport and visa arrive in the mail.
I would be more than happy to help anyone the best way I can with questions about the interview or anything else regarding the steps. Wednesday was officially the best day of my life!!
I am sending lots of courage and best thoughts to all the august filers who are still in the middle of the process or awaiting their interview!

Hi everybody!
So I'm travelling in 2 days to the US with my fiancé for 75 days, we are going to decorate our future home waiting for NOA2 and the interview after this. I will be returning to France on May 6th. Thank you so much again, I follow this everyday and it makes me happy and confident to see all of the evolution of everyone's files!
Wish me luck for the arrival at the border, I hope it won't be too bad and that everything goes smoothly!

just be honest, definitely have your return ticket and just in case have your noa1 picture on your phone or a copy of it.
which port of entry you're using?
We will be arriving in New York City at JFK. Your message and my lawyer’s message made me feel more confident, I have prepared all the papers already.

There are no issue. not because of K1, not unless you're going every single weekend....So many wrong info flowing around today.
Thank you for your answer!! Well my lawyer advised me to be completely honest about the purpose of my visit, especially since I'm entering the country with my fiancée. And to provide my return ticket and my NoA1. Moreover, I have a long time job and an apartment here in France.

Hi everybody!
My fiancée and I are filing the Visa K1. Our case was received on August 24th, so we are getting close to Noa2! I am planning on going to the USA for a couple months with my fiancée in February with my Waiver Visa that is valid. Have you ever travelled while pending your K1 approval or have you heard about any experiences from other filers? I get very nervous about being turned back at the border even though our lawyer said it would be no problem at all if I explained that I was visiting with my fiancée to meet her family awaiting my interview at the French American embassy in Paris.

AOS AUGUST 2018 FILERS FROM K-1 [merged threads]

Good morning everybody!
My wife and I had our AOS interview on Wednesday Morning at 8:15am in NY and we got approved in the afternoon following the interview! Now I have a notification from USCIS saying that the card is being produced!! 🎉🎉
The interview was very nice, our officer was great and we had 4/5 questions about our parents, how we met etc. He asked for our original documents (birth certificates and marriage licence) and for proof or relationships (photos etc). He double checked he had the correct mailing address for the card as well and that was it... 20 minutes total, I’d say!
They kept our original marriage licence though... our lawyer said we won’t get it back, which is too bad!
Congratulations to everybody who has been approved or is moving forward and for those still waiting for the next step : lots of courage, it’s going to come soon! 💛
