  1. Question 26.a.

"I have submitted a visa petition(s) to U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services on behalf of the following persons. (If none, write "None" in the space for name below.)

Would I list my fiancee here?

    Question 38

"I ___intend ____do not intend to make specific contributors to the support of the person(s) named in Part 2."

    What do I put here?

Take a look at our timeline:

13 Dec 2016    CEAC status shows "Ready"
        24 Jan 2017    Interview

As you can see, it took about 1.5 months and this was back in 2016. That's why I mentioned it may take 1-2 months just so you have a realistic timeframe. It's possible that your case will move faster or slower than ours.

1-2 months for interview isn't bad. I'm more worried about 1-2 months before we get package 3 from embassy, and then 1-2 months before we get interview after that (4 months total!) Hoping we get package 3 this week so we can get that returned immediately and wait for the interview info.

This may take 1-2 months since the backlog for interviews in Bangkok is somewhat lengthy.

Hope that isn't the case. We're fast approaching 1 year since we began this and I think we're both very fatigued with it. Here's to hoping the process starts picking up a bit now that Songkran is over.

    (I know you weren't being snarky-no worries)

Did you put boarding passes and passport stamps?

My original I 29 included visas and passport stamps yes, showing 4 years of continuous living in her country. She will speak with our old landlord and writing a letter that we lived together even though she wasn't on the lease.. Boarding passes I don't have... but I can print off the itinerary emails? Is there an example of the type of letter I need to write? Or just a basic summary of how we met. You said her letter of intent doesn't need to be original, right? She can sign and scan and I will print it in color.

thank you (I was on the road too bumpy to check all questions :))

    Just additions:

@RevGreen lawyers are really unreliable in k1. The letter should be the classic letter of intent (similar to what petitioner wrote) and your fiancé will sign it and can send you a scanned copy, you can print out the copy and we know it worked for people (but a color print is important)

All the suggestion above are perfect. Some other suggestions can be: Did you guys had a lease? Or receipt or credit card usage that puts you in the same place? Or anyone from that country that can write a letter stating they know you etc. is also good.

Thanks for the answer. I wasn't being snarky in my comment, just wanted to get an answer asap because I would really like to send the RFE packet back tomorrow if possible. We don't have any thing that links us living together... everything was/is in my name. I have flights that show me coming and going out of Bangkok. I have pictures of us. I could possibly get a letter from our friends but I'm not sure what that would have to say to make it acceptable. This is a lot more complicated than I anticipated.

Aug 17 NOA 1. RFE was sent Feb 23 and I received it today.

I'm missing 2 things -  'Beneficiary's Intent to Marry' and 'Requirement Petitioner and Beneficiary have Met in Person'

A lawyer prepared our package so I'm not sure how he missed the letter of intent. But we did include passports which indicate that I live (and have been living) in my fiancee's country. We've lived together for 1 year.

What kind of proof do I need? Pictures? Do they need to be dated? Passport copies? Do I need to write a letter detailing how we met?

Also what about the intent to marry? I am currently in America, so will my fiancee need to prepare and sign the letter and then send it to me?

I realize I'm not sharing good news about my approval, but could someone please help me out? I'm not getting any responses in any thread I post this in.
