Hallelujah!!! Happy to hear some good news on here finally!

We used our state Senator twice (Senator Casey), once during our i-212 process, and once for AOS.  Your Senator's office is permitted to call and ask for the status of your case, but not permitted, by law, to intercede; which they tell you, but I do not believe.  Both times, after we got a report from our Senator's office, we soon received approvals.  Since you have two Senators for each state, I'd suggest you choose wisely which one you make the request.  By the way, we were just getting ready to make contact again to the same Senator for the Removal of Conditions since it had been about 7 months, and then we received a written approval.  Some people speculate that perhaps that helped us on this process because of past requests.

The forum got out of control for a while, but having in mind we are going through a systematic torture mashine called USCIS no wonder we are all on edge!
Lets try to use the forum for sharing updates about cases or asking case related questions, and less about hypothesis on USCIS processing! These are all guesses and untill we see letters in the mail I don't really want to hear any more of these!

My case status is still 'case was received by local office on Feb 27', who else has the same?
Is there any coherent theories about why it is that way?

By the way, today is full year since USCIS got my case! Happy anniversary to me, pretty soon my I-751 wait will last longer then my marriage did! LMAO

Seriously, if you want to break a person give them a promise of a final solution to their problem, but then keep delaying the gratification day in day out, eventually they will snap!

I couldn't agree more. It is an irony that they keep us in dark and don't give us an update. Any information they give is most of the times meaningless and contradicts with their own statements. They way they go about their customer service is like we have paid nothing and they are doing us a big favor by picking up our call. What makes me mad is when they are rude to you and misbehave in such an unprofessional manner. 

My green card was delivered today! Expires 2028. Thanks a lot for all the support. I hope and pray each and every one get approved soon.

Agreed. Also love the profile picture it's a perfect symbol of us checking the mailbox everyday for green cards.

There is a light at CSC but it doesn't work. 

Lol, you wont know what it is for sure untill you take a look, but it could be that they are just notifying you of an update in your case, maybe it is nothing major, weird things are happening lately with all these transfers!
And maybe it is an approval?! In any case let us know, hope it is good news!
