Okay peeps, I went from not being able to check my status to this yesterday:

"Your case is in transit to the Consular Section. Your interview date was provided to you by the National Visa Center."

Does that mean it's has left NVC? And isn't the embassy supposed to provide my interview date?

I'm so confused, as always haha

Yes it's in transit. it depends what embassy you are mine said that for london but london you book your own date

  2. they won't look at your ds-160 till they receive your case. Yes that's correct you do receive an email stating it's been expedited. But that still takes up to 7 days to get there. So check on ceac.gov , immigrant case tracker, put in your LND case number and when it says it's ready, and not in transit you can then book your interview. You will receive a letter from the embassy stating they have received your case the following day after it gets to london. Make sure you leave at least 10 days between medical and interview.

I am just starting to look at the AOS fees.  Now that we are moving forward I will be going over to the AOS forums but I just wanted to ask this here as I am just starting on the AOS portion.  Am I looking at about $3000 each for the AOS/EAD/AP fees?

I see $1225 for the 485, $575 for the 130, $575 for the AP and $535 for the EAD.  Is this right or am I missing something?

You can file the EAD and AP for free if you submit it with the i-485. So for AoS with those two forms as well will only come to $1225

    Hello everybody!

I am looking for some help! I am trying to book an interview date for my interview at the Dutch embassy. When I try to pay the visa application fee I can not click on anything anymore and it says: ''There are no available appointments at this time. Please check back in a few days as the Consular Section will open more appointments.''
Now I wonder if I am doing something wrong or if I just have to wait until they open op more appointments? Does anyone from the Netherlands have any experience with this?

    Hopefully someone can help me!

    Thanks!

this is exactly the same as what London is saying right now. Can't pay fee as there aren't any appointments. Most likely wait till the 1st may and more appointments will be avaliable

  8. quick question guys!

For my medical it states "if you have any significant/ ongoing/ previous medical conditions please bring a report from your GP regarding this; including , medication, prognosis, management etc"

I had ACL reconstruction in my knee 3 years ago, got discharged straight away after physio same around 3 years ago and no problems since and no medication etc . Do I need to get this in a letter for my GP?

    Hi Everyone,

My fiancee in England tours as part of her job. She has a flat in one city but all of her mail is routed to her parent's separate address. Is she okay to put her current address as her parent's house when applying for the police certificate, or is this inadvisable since she technically doesn't live there full-time? She doesn't have any evidence of the address for her flat, so I'm hoping it's okay to list her parent's instead.

Any advice would be much appreciated, thanks!

Yes that's absolutely fine. I've done that two times before for different visas

Yes in about a week you can start calling NVC. Once the provide you with your number you'll need to fill out your DS-160 pay your fee and at that point depending on if your embassy does online for packet 3 or mail you can schedule your medical and interview im not sure how the london embassy does this.

Amazing! That's what I thought perfect! Thank you!
