Anyone in the P3/P4 stages feeling like things are moving extra slow? We sent P3 into Montreal Dec 31, and still no P4. I realize we've got holidays and weekends in the mix there, but most recent Canada applicants go from P3>P4 within 24 hours. Not stressed or complaining or anything but just curious to see if others feel like it's slower movement than their norm... wondering if the shutdown is slowing things down at the consulates. 

She said one website she registered on gave her instructions to print out 2 forms to take to the bank.  Then she paid directly to the teller at the bank.

Yes we did and our file says ready so yours should also. Did you get your police certificate yet? Did you pay the visa fee? I was hoping to pay online but it looks like you can only pay at the bank with a form

It's called trusting the process [said in a quiet unassuming voice]. Remember when I said they go out Tuesday and Wednesdays. 

You're a saint.  why the heck didn't I think of that.    Doing tons of OT at work and not getting sleep will make the mind slip.   Thanks!   It worked   Says it will get there at the end of the day Friday.   I was skeptical of the 3 day estimate given in the Colombia Consulate section, but I'll be damned....it's 3 days.  
 
 

I am compassionate and caring or else I wouldn't be here sharing the information I know and have acquired.  Just because someone doesn't like the information presented doesn't mean it's not valid or relevant or helpful.  This is NOT a support group.  This a "Do It Yourself" website to help others through their immigration paperwork without the help of a lawyer or for pay service.  The fact that there is support here, is a benefit but it's not the purpose of the forum. 
 
The CO will be judgmental because that's THEIR JOB.  Learn to deal with it, or you will fail. The CO assumes the relationship is fake and for visa benefit only.  It's your job to convince them otherwise with evidence of a genuine relationship.

Went to Social Security Office, have your passport, fillout the SS card application AND print out the I-94. No problems at all there. Oh and just in case print out the “social sec employees guide for visa” which says that K-1 is eligible for one, in case the officer doesn’t know anything about K1. I had it, but she knew K1 so it went fairly quickly. 

I guess I am just frustrated by the _______ questions. No one thinks for themselves anymore. I'm getting to a point where I think I need to take some time away from here and stop the insanity in my life.

I wish people knew how to use a blog like this one. It's so simple. You read the days posts. Then tomorrow you log on and you begin reading where you left off the day before. Then repeat. Soooooooo simple to understand but most just don't get it. And they are applying for something they know little about that will change there life forever. Oy Vey.

I wish you and others would read this thread from where you left off the last time you were on till the very last post and then if you have a question that was not answered then ask it. Please I beg you all to do this. I end up repeating and repeating. If I have answered the question with in a day or so I am not going to answer your question. It's a waste of MY TIME. If it does not work for you, then give it 12 to 24 hours till NVC and DHL update each other. It does work, just need a little patience.

I think you're the only one stressing out for people who aren't stressing out. No offense. Be reasonable and just let us do what we do, no need to tell us to act any certain way - we're good! As you can see, statuses are being actively updated as we speak. Glad you're through, congrats! 

Yup, it's easy for people who are already in transit to say relax (and I'm not knocking those that do, I know they are trying to be helpful and reassuring and I thank them for that).   But for us "at NVC" status, we'll probably keep refreshing until the keyboard breaks or our cases say in transit, whichever comes first.  

We have almost the same date, but it says still " at NVC" I'm praying so it can change to transit, I just checked some minutes ago.

Same! And I've refreshed it so many times today! I'm hopeful for the status change today!

Edit: Is it normal that the NVC's status checker says "In Transit" but the DHL tracker reference thing isn't showing any results??? 😖
