When you see a message from your fiance...

Yes!!! Keep the hope alive! We may still be weeks away but it’s better than that feeling of having just filed and waiting months..

Same date same wish! Hoping they start January approvals next week and that ours isn't far behind. July 11th will be our 180 days! 
Edit: Also, it's crazy to be counting down in weeks and days instead of months! We should all realize the longest wait is already almost over!

That was one of the things that kept me busy... I also painted a few rooms of the house, got my step-daughters room ready for her, donating more unwanted or unneeded things, shopping for a few items it would be better to have my for fiance when she comes or for my step-daughter, working on a side business I started a year or so ago, reading VJ, reading other things, being bored sometimes, cleaning the house again, organizing what few things i had decided I wanted to keep..
 
One of the coolest things I did was make a few lists, and then I wrote them on color coded popsicle sticks and put them all in a jar. When we want to do something and nothing is coming to mind, I pick the appropriate stick out and we perhaps do that, or draw again. I thought it would be cute. I also determined it's going to take us about 6 years to do more of the things just in this local area (not counting most of the vacations).
Restaurants I wanted to take her to, both fast casual & "date night" type places Indoor activities in the area  Outdoor activities in the area Nearby city downtown areas, and being in the Chicago Burbs, there's a lot! Shopping Malls & Grocery stores (to show her the variety of choices) Weekend vacation spots & Week-long vacation spots  

I am thinking as soon as his feet hit American soil either JFK or ORD we are going to courthouse to have short sweet to the point and when we get back to KY have a blow out reception 😜😜😜

I am planning for October 27th and i am a January 26th filer!!!
 

I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a late October wedding!

Oh come on! I’m eagerly waiting for the 20’s to be all touched. So hard being a late filer in a month (although late November filers would say otherwise) 😂😂☝️🍀

This is very exciting. We hit 150 days today. We are getting sooo close guys! 
 
I feel bad coz I get the replies sent to my emails so I never come on to reply 😂

So just got that bimonthly email stating they are still working on my case...  But this time it said "We last took action on your case June 5th 2018".... I haven't done anything like a change of address or anything like that.... Could this mean they are starting to work on January cases? Or just a weird fluke the means nothing?
 

That’s my expectation, too. I’ve also stopped looking at my timeline as it’s moved all the way back into August. I know it’s not an accurate, exact thing but it is a little disheartening.

Applying for Australian fiance. Application submitted 12/06. Received 12/08 and transferred. Notice 12/13. Application was approved on 06/08/2018! Currently being sent to NVC!

It’s encouraging people are still thinking sept/oct for POE. 
 
Sydney embassy seems to have good reviews, I haven’t seen anything to suggest they take long processing interviews etc so fingers crossed it’s smooth once we get our NOA2. 

Timeline back another day  Still trying to keep the hope alive. These were good days for November and I hope they'll get the December train rolling soon. 

My fiancé just got a new job! He’s been looking for full time work for several months so that he can make enough and we wouldn’t need a co-sponsor 😀😀😀😀

I'm very lucky then I just visited my fiance in the US. They didn't ask many things just normal questions CBP officer usually asks. He just asked me why am I visiting the US and I answered for holiday. For how long? Three weeks. Then he asked who lives on the address I wrote on immigration paper and I answered my fiance and he let me through.
 
I brought with me our NOA1, our K-1 application, my salary stub, guarantee letter from my employer, bank statement and my return ticket. He didn't ask any of those. From their profiling it seems I have no possibly of overstaying. My fiance is visiting me in May, then in July and for our interview. We can't stay away from each other for too long!

Yep! I’m not feeling strong some days.. but I’m sure we will make it

Happy Valentine's Day Janies (does that work?).  Feeling a bit down today, special days are always harder  Close to tears the entire morning. Just trying to think that we won't have to go through this next Valentine's.

We got our hard copy NOA1 in the mail today

I understand... yesterday before all these movement I was so pissed that he didn't come here and waited with me, and I can't quit my job now to go there... I was like "is this even an engagement??" Then approvals came though and I felt way better... seeing the light at the end of the tunnel....
