Just called uscis for the heck of it and I was approved. 
Noa1 old site: Jan 8
noa1 new site: Jan 10
rfe: 7/27. Rec in mail on 8/2
rfe response: sent 8/2 acknowledged by uscis 8/7. Was delivered to them 8/5
noa2: 8/14
 
hufe relief and a test of patience.
 
i hope they pound the rest of January and finish off with approvals for all remaining. Good luck to all of you!

Ok everyone I called USCIS and the representative stated they just mailed me out an RFE. I asked to be transferred to a tier 2 and am now waiting for the call back. 
 
 
@Greenbaum THANK you for the previous post reminder about that unfortunate soul in August 2017. Any further advice????

We got approved!!!
NOA1 new website - January 29th
NOA2 - August 9th
 
I checked my email this morning first and I had one from USCIS that said 'we have taken action on your account, please log in to check' which sounded strange, and worried me a bit. But when I logged in to the new website, it said we were approved!!! We are so happy we can barely focus at work haha.
 
And yes, we already updated our timeline. 😉

Hey everyone! I got my NOA2 earlier so I finally made it to this step!  I can't wait to get my NVC number!

Finally after 190 days we are approved!  Thank God and everyone who prayed for us here!  We will continue to pray for everyone else's approval as well.

Checked the new site at 11:50pm Pacific, showed us being approved.  (It did not show us approved earlier in the day)
Received a notification via email at 3:30AM Pacific (On 08/09/18)

So happy seeing that it rained approvals this week. Wishing for us that’s still waiting for approval, that it will be soon. 
 
Tic tac tic tac tic tac.... clock is still ticking on us... but it’s about to stop and we will be receiving our approvals tomorrow when we get up.

The power of prayer and belief is at work here, we prayed for the rain of approvals today, its only 5am PST and its raining very hard with approvals. Keep the faith, Stay Positive.

Just got email saying we got approved!!!!!!! 205 days.
Old site Jan 16 new site Jan 19th. Now I have to wait for letter with further instructions?

After reading these responses, I’ve asked my fiancé to call on Friday and see what they say. We’re at 200 days tomorrow so I don’t want to go overboard with calling etc. but just to try on Friday and see.. 
 
We also decided not to try expedite our case because of his job. He had his old job to go back to so thankfully he’s okay. It’s not ideal and he’s looking for another new full time, but we’re okay with that. Hopefully it won’t take much longer.  👍🏻

I have been calling. I got approved July 30th but they still don't have my case number, maybe by monday.

I called and was transferred to a Tier 2–well the automated system stating I would receive a call back when one is available...so we shall see! What an awesome day 8-8-18 if I was a betting gal I would play the lottery with those numbers!!!!

I am not sure how to start, I think I am still in shock. I decided to call USCIS today because i didn't receive the letter I was supposed to get, I spoke with another wonderful lady. I was patient and waited for her to get through her process and verification questions. I told her that i was calling because i didn't receive the explanation letter for why my case could not be expedited, and then i added if she can check the status of my case and let me know if someone is still reviewing it. She said one moment while she checks, she came back on the phone and told me that my case have been approved today and the letter was just sent out, dated 08/08/18. what a special date. i am so in shock, i have not called my fiance yet, i feel like i should just wait for the system to update by tonight or tomorrow to show the approval before i tell her, in case i am dreaming.
I was just so emotional when she said you have been approved, i asked her to make sure please because i must be dreaming, she said she cant lie about something like this. i say God bless you very well and if i could see you right now, i would hug you so much. 
i got off the phone and cried by myself for a few minutes, then composed myself and got back to work. it still feels so surreal. i have not told anyone but you guys because we have all been through this tough journey together since January, 7 months. we are family. i promise to remain here with you guys my fiends and help out as i can.
i will put all you my remaining friends in my prayers that you too will receive your blessing of approval, in Jesus name. Amen.
