Have been waiting since October 2021 for AP. EAD was received in Feb 2022. Good luck, hope you get the elusive "combo-card".

We just requested expedite (humanitarian, severe illness in immediate family) for I-131. Filed all docs Oct 2021. 

It is ridiculous how people have to wait so long for travel permission.

The VJ processing time lists others who applied about a month before us getting theirs. Hoping we have ours in the next month.

Yes. It was received in early Spring.

We've been waiting for AP since October. Not sure who think AP times are getting better. I personally AP is going to be worse with the EAD/AP de-coupling.

1-485/131/765 applied for in October 2021.

Received EAD in March 2022, but it was the EAD only - AP hasn't moved. Anyone get AP approved since the decoupling has started and it seems the "Combo card" is no more?

CEAC says AP as of 8-Nov-2019. At least docs were received relatively quickly...

My fiancée and I had our K1 interview on 6 November. It was definitely interesting as I wasn't involved in the interview AT ALL. Others have posted that the USC being there adds to the overall package - I had a different experience. Overall it was easy for her, basic questions, etc. only about 15 minutes.

Anyways, unfortunately my fiancee's medical exams weren't available for pickup prior to her interview. So, she did the interview without them and was given the white slip 221g with instructions to send the medical exam envelope and her passport to the embassy via the ASC. We picked them up the afternoon of 6 November and send them back to the embassy along with her passport, as instructed.

The Interviewer told her that it would be 10-15 days to acknowledge receipt of the documents and passport and 3 weeks to process. Where can we look to see updates, is that the CEAC site? Thanks in advance.

I believe the embassy can extend the NOA2 approval from USCIS for 4 months at a time. Try to e-mail/call the embassy and ask.

We received the e-mail today that we are IN TRANSIT to Bogota, Colombia! 

Is there a preferred way to update address with NVC? NOA2 is dated 02Jul19, and I am moving (military) at the end of the month. 

FWIW, my NOA2 date is 02Jul19, and the new site says "case received", so updates online are delayed, at best....

The old site does not open for me...maybe they have shut it down.

I have been away from home for the past 2 weeks, our NOA2 was dated 02Jul19, but with the holiday, it didn't arrive until 08Jul19 - of course after I had left. What an awesome feeling to come home to! NOA1 date was 10Apr19, so this was WAY faster than we were expecting!

Does anyone find themselves checking the case status on USCIS multiple times a day, even though we know it is not reliable, at best...

Unfortunately, I have heard of this in Colombia - deadbeat father learns baby mama is going to the US of A and sees $$$$ attached to his autograph....for a child he likely didn't want anything to do with....

it looks like you took a selfie and yes, the shadow is probably going to result in them asking for another photo...my opinion. but if they want another photo, easy enough to go to local drugstore and get it done.

My opinion is that actual names and user handles will be pushed through a database/search tool and if there is evidence of connection to terrorist/communist/alt-right/alt-left etc. groups, a flag may trigger that would require a human to further investigate. I do not think they have the manpower to scour accounts/messages unless someone is off.

For anyone who is filling the form out, does it just ask for the user name? Or does it also ask for the password? The comment above regarding account settings as "private" is a great point although I am sure they already have tools to work around that.

Print out the I-129F and go through it line by line while referencing the guides available here and online. It is not a hard form to fill out and assemble a packet with organized supporting documents. 

My opinion is unless you do not feel confident in completing it yourself (lots of "explanations" i.e. divorce(s)), you should do it yourself and save the money.

the VJ estimated NAO2/adjudication of 129F shows as mid-July....does this seem a little fast? I thought it would be a minimum 5 months for the USCIS and was not thinking we would hear anything until Labor Day or after (filed first week of April).
