Me too. Don't worry. It is usually something simple, and once you return the requested info then your case will get approved shortly after. At least that is what everyone is saying... My RFE was sent out on 8/28 and I should get it in a few days. I have no idea what it is for.

When USCIS is reviewing your I-129f and if it finds any information that is either missing or is incomplete then they will issue what's called an RFE. The RFE just lets you know exactly what information they're looking for in order to complete your I-129f. They'll mail it to you, you'll read it over and you'll gather the information together that the are asking for so the can complete the adjudication process. Once you have that information then you'll return it per their instructions. About  about 2 weeks after receiving your reply then they will complete the adjudication and make a decision on your case.

It means a request for evidence.
 
It’s good it means they touched your case and you have left some information out of your petition and they are requesting that evidence. You will be getting a letter from uscis over the next week or two explaining what they are asking for. Follow the instructions carefully and you will get noa2 by replying with what they are asking for.

Finally. 2 hours after a Tier 2 agent told me "No, I don't see that we requested more evidence" this came to my app. I just cannot believe that anyone truly knows what is going on there if they are all giving different info. I don't know. At least it is progress. I will keep you all posted. 
 

I got that msg too! I am waiting on the mail too however IDS came already and its not in the mail today hopefully tomorrow

Without a doubt crazy. The information we look for on our online accounts is far too important for there to be glitches that may or may not give us accurate information. People who are relying only on their online account information may or may not be receiving accurate data. It's a toss of the coin whether you are getting the right information or not. Thank God I have my NOA2 in hand or I'd still be doubting if I actually had an approval.
 
But remember after the NOA2 all those still waiting may play a little catch up in the process as I understand from information posted on visa journey that NVC only sends batches to the consulates. The next batch is apparently September 4 and it is probably unlikely mine will be received and sent in that batch. So mine most likely won't get sent until the September 18th batch. Which means many of you just a couple of weeks behind me will play catch up and we'll be sent to our embassies at the same time. Hope that makes sense and puts a little glimmer of sunshine into this excruciating wait.

The possibility is that NVC at times does not always send out emails. I highly recommend that you do the following to be more informed about your case with NVC.
 
After getting notified and receiving your NOA2 send an email to NVC asking for them to email both you and your fiancé if any updates occur. In the past they have replied when your case was received from USCIS, another when your case number has been assigned and when your case is being sent out to your Embassy without you having to make any further queries by phone. Here is where you send this information to:

Body: Petitioner's Complete Name Birthday ; Beneficiary's Complete Name Birthday

So I vowed to call USCIS everyday since Aug 13th when I was informed I would be getting an RFE and finally today after talking to a tier 2 the infamous RFE has finally been mailed I received a txt and email shortly after stating the same thing. I must also let u all know in the txt they ent me there was a link to check case status on the website. However i went to myacountuscis.gov or whatever that sight is and the website still said my case was received....so then I went back to the txt they sent me and clicked on the link inside the txt and that one said they had sent out and RFE but the site with the 2 step verification still say received. I'm hoping to get the RFE by Saturday so I can get it mailed back to them.

yes every time I call I speak with a tier2. I normally don't give a story. once they go thru their normal script and elaborate as to what they are saying is the final answer... I just say pls can I speak with someone else because I know there is more info available on my case....and they just transfer me without any further questions

got the approval letter for NOA2 in the mail today.  my fiance and i are so happy.  its incredible, the wait is finally coming to an end.  or rather, i can see the light at the end of the tunnel

We had very similar. Our rfe was generated on August 1. Tier 2 on many calls couldnt gice us a clear answer. One said it was on way, another said it was still their, another said it was waiting super approval another said they didnt know y it was still there. One even told me after 16 days u can request to have it faxed. I called my senator and 5 days later my senator called me saying they mailed it out. I called next day and asked USCIS to fax the rfe. 2 hours later I had it

I have absolutely no idea. There is NO way that it could be proof of relationship because I had photos from 6 vacations together complete with itineraries. The only thing I can think of was that I did not send a copy of the notary stamp from my divorce papers? I have everything else. I was so thorough. I was told 1 month ago that we passed background checks so it has to be something simple. 

Hey guys, just to update. So sorry to hear so many Janies haven't heard back yet  We;ve been busy collecting all the documents needed and working. Going to see my baby on Friday 😍NVC received our case 2 weeks after our NOA2 and our case was sent on the 21st and got to the consulate on Friday the 24th, we booked our interview yesterday the 25th since we have all our documents already. Interview will be on September 18th.
