BIG waste of time going to a private doctor for X-rays, their machines are not anywhere near as good as those used by St. Luke's.
St. Luke's follows CDC requirements. TB kills and the Philippines is in the top 10 for TB.
Follow the process, after 3 day culture and not positive it is 60 days more for the culture..
didnt feel like it was a waste of time but when your loved one feels hopeless and scare you would do anything to comfort her and reassure her everything will be ok so thats what i did
i see top of the line machines at st lukes extension what makes them different than others she had her private doctor who works at st lukes medical center in quezon close to where she lives order a x ray at that place negative everything normal
yeah just sticking with the process no choice

Hello everyone after months and months of waiting noa2 petition approval collecting documents scheduling interview we are at stop due to SLEC medical
my fiancé went for her medical last weeks ago everything looks fine they asked her to return the next day for immunizations well the next day they said she has to go for "sputum collection" apparently the X-ray was inconclusive so after the devastating news she broke down and kept questioning why or what happened overall she healthy no signs or symptoms of TB my concerns are they didn't consult with her as to what they found or show her the X-ray didn't give her a X-ray report like they do here in the states even she did request ok thats fine for whatever reason so they had her schedule to come back in 2 weeks they didn't have openings this week do a 3 day sputum collection and then wait 8 weeks for cultures to come back yeah so delays
so after feeling devastated I kept comforting her nothing is wrong you are ok we just have to follow the rules so a few days later I had her go to her private doctor to order a chest X-ray we got the report and X-ray everything is clear and normal and she did the sputum smear and nothing came back all negative just feel like st lukes is not doing things right and have the power to just do random testing I know they won't accept other results but wanted her to do that for her own piece of mind she said she couldnt do the sputum testing at st lukes because they are fully booked this week questioning again maybe they just putting everyone for sputum testing
has anyone had similar recent experiences at st lukes luckily my fiancé lives a hour away but still hassle I can only imagine people coming from so far away and st lukes having no consideration for them I know its a process to follow and a 2 month delay hope and praying we will be together before the holidays god bless

That has been a "hot potato" and some say original signature is needed other say it doesn't. It's going to be up to your Embassy and what they require. Have you asked in the sub - forum for your country/region as to what Brazil requires? Or sent off an email to your Embassy for clarification? Heck, the Philippines Embassy doesn't even take financials anymore. So buyer beware.
thanks for your continued help really appreciate it
question I left my fiancé my affidavit of support on aug 10 when I was visiting her I left it singed but did not date it is there a validity I want her to put a date on it when it gets closer to the interview or can I have her put the aug 10 2018 date on it thanks

Hello everyone i got my case number from ncv one week ago with our MNL# i tracked it it says at nvc the gentlemen on the phone did say it was sent out to the embassy in manila but no movement yet but me and my fiance been working on the other stuff i believe the status should turn to ready ?
completed ds-160 but not summited yet
she got her cenomar
Birth certificate
passport photos
has my affidavid of support with supporting documents
We both are working on continued relationship evidence now
Awating to schedule interview and medical Because when she went to get her NBI clearance yesterday she got a “HIT” im not familiar what this is but after a bit of research i guess its common in Philippines she does not have a criminal record but they told her she will have to come back in two weeks because they have to do further investigation she does not have a common name but does have a long name anyone with the same experience getting NBI clearence or if its possible to expedite that ? Just dont want anymore delays and she is bummed out she couldn’t get it i just told her you will be ok dont worry too much

The Philippines works slightly different from some other Embassy's where it is easier and fast. Someone just got approved recently and they completed it 22 days from receiving the case number to walking out of USEM approved. Once you receive your case number it's time to be in charge of what time you choose when things get down. To smooth that trail for your I have a few things that will help you process your visa there in the Philippines.
Start by visiting Hanks site where he has taken the time and research, and of course it helps if you spent 8 plus years helping folks in the Philippines sub-forum get their visas, where he has listed each step. With those steps he includes the what, when and why to completing the item. Many have used the website and have had little or NO problems securing a visa from USEM.
http://www.visaconnection-philippines.com/k-1-visa-application.html
Next you'll want to connect with those who are processing through the Philippines in the VJ Philippines sub-forum that way you will be with like minded ppl who are sharing their experiences and also asking and answering questions. Since most in this thread are processing through another country they would be hard pressed to explain what is needed for the Philippines.
http://www.visajourney.com/forums/forum/129-philippines/
You'll find this on Hank's website but I will give it to you early and that is the Packet 3 Letter for USEM. It's found here:
https://ph.usembassy.gov/visas/immigrant-visas/fiancee-visa/the-interview/
Here is the Packet 3 letter.
There you have it. Everything you need to get your visa. Good luck and smooth sailing.

it would depend where in the process she is in her family based visa...she could be immediatly a GC holder if she gets approval on her family petition.
question: where are you guys on the k-1 process? Got a NOA-2 already? k-1 is taking longer now. Average of 7+ months now
According to uscis website all it says case approved that was in july of 2014 that petition was summited by her mother and before i even met my fiance im just at lost like why was there no follow up on that petition by her family or can they follow up
right now we are at 197 days on our i-129f since noa1 still awaiting for noa2 so roughly about 7 month since received date of January 3 2018
-
I also asked her to give me te receipt number for that petition and i input it on check case status on uscis website and bam it says that case was approved im scratching my head like why was there no follow up to that she said her mom and sister never received a approval or letter and also mention that type of visa takes several years im lost now and worried since we have put so much effort on our k1on the affects it may have

Hello visajourney question my fiance mother who is a green card holder that was received trough Family based (my fiance sister who is a usc) her mom summited a petition for my fiance i belive it was a few years ago any input on how or would it affect our pending i-129f petition day 197 for us since noa1 and where would a question like this come up at interview or any future forms
-
Day 197 for us 🙁🙁🙁 nothing yet, done with checking every day maybe i need to get my mind off it for now and just let things develop on there own

I filed on January 9th (Jan 16th on the new website), and our timeline for the wedding is pretty tight. What option should I pick on the case inquiry? I don't think I'm outside the normal processing time yet, and I don't know of any cards, notices, or documents that haven't arrived yet.
Not to be harsh but your timeline for the wedding is not gonna matter to uscis

Did you try calling to see if they approved you? I am jan 4th and nothing on old or new but the tier 1 person on the phone said i was approved.
You should try calling and talk to the person not the machine.
I just got off the phone with uscis they said my case is still within the normal processing time and if i dont hear anything within the next 3-4 weeks i can call back she did mention i should be hearing something very shortly not sure what that means but still hopeful
