Sorry to hear about your experience.  IMO,  all applicants are "paying customers" and should be treated with respect and all immigration officers should behave in a professional manner and treat everyone politely.
 
My IO was okay, but during the fingerprinting process, the lady who took my fingerprints was curt and rude, did not even smile and acted like I was a nuisance (to think there were only about 10 people in the waiting area but I waited an hour to be fingerprinted).  Anyhow, I was shocked to see my Naturalization Certificate photo was the one taken during the fingerprinting process and in it, I literally look like they took my photo while I was being booked into jail (a mugshot).  Even the lady who took my passport application agreed, when she saw my certificate.  LOL.  Tsk, tsk, tsk.

I never received my oath letter, online in the documents tab or in the mail. Since the interviewing officer told me my ceremony would be May 15 (this Tuesday) I called the number yesterday, punched in the secret code to get a live person and they ended up faxing me the letter for the ceremony. So, Tuesday is the big day!

First of all, CONGRATULATIONS to everyone who have passed their interviews and who've taken their oaths!
 
This morning at around 4am, I got the bi-weekly automated email I receive from USCIS saying "there are no updates at this time."
 
Then at 11am I received an email from the ELISdonotreply@uscis.dhs.gov email.  IT WAS BLANK.  Talk about suspenseful.
 
Anyhow, I checked my case status online using my receipt number and it says my interview has been scheduled!  Fingers crossed and hopefully the information will be uploaded by tomorrow.

Congrats, Seth!  Do you have your Oath date yet?

Like I said a couple of times, these are all assumptions/speculations on my part.  I had noticed that January 2018 filers had a lot more interviews scheduled than December 2017 filers.  I looked and a lot of them (not all) who were scheduled early on, have GC dates from way back 2011, 2005, etc. 
 
But if it's not true and purely coincidental, I am okay with being wrong.  Most of us are just trying to make sense of all the time frames to try and ease the anxiety that comes with waiting.

Congratulations!  That gives me some hope! 
 
May I ask if you are filing based on the 3-year or 5-year rule?

I applied for the US passport at the clerk of court a week after the ceremony and while they offered the expedite process, I decided to go with the regular process which took approximately 2 weeks. They will keep your certificate and they will send it back to you after you receive your US passport. I received both already.

I've been periodically checking my ECD online and within the last few weeks, it had shortened to Jan 2019 (from Feb 2019), then back again to Feb 2019....then, after reading the latest posts on here, I check again, and mine is now at March 2019.    This is a bit odd, since the N-400 processing dates were just updated and Fresno has actually gained about 5-6 weeks progress compared to the last update.  But then again, the updates I think are 2 months delayed (last update was as of Jan 31, 2018).
 
I am hoping to see progress sooner than the ECD, though.  March 2019 would mean 15 months from start to finish.

In the interview letter there is a list, just google "interview letter n400" and you'll see many samples. However, BASED ON MY EXPERIENCE, you must bring:
 
- your GC
- your passport (the foreign one)
- another photo ID
 
THOSE ARE MUST!

I Only had 4 fingers done, only always had 4 fingers done, & my last GC was issued 10 years ago, expiring in August,

The new system says in review, 
my Biometrics was yesterday!

I am very busy with school and work so the waiting doesn’t bother me too much. I am also applying based on the 5 yr but only had my right hand fingerprinted. Also my 5th year anniversary was on September 19,2017 
Received an email yesterday exactly 2 week’s post biometrics that there are no updates on my case.🤷🏽‍♀️
 

no, but it does list place of birth ... so they might assume you immigrated here if you were born in a foreign country ...

I did mine last week and was told to remove earrings (eventhough they were so small you could barely see them). The letter says no phone so I just left mine in the car. 

Looks like my local field office in Seattle picked up some steam slightly. It was 11 months as of early December when I applied and processing times have dropped by 2 months since then. 

Yeah my fingerprint got scheduled for a week and a couple of days after my initial notice of action. Seems to be that fast especially with the new online ELIS system when it comes to scheduling. My notice of action was on the 7th and on the 9th I got a biometric notification for a scheduled fingerprint date for the 26th.

You should be able to view your documents online in about a day or so, as for fingerprinting it should also be scheduled within a week after your notice of action. I also created an account online after I got the codes from USCIS after paper filing.

EDIT: It's is and it's not... my field status says they are processing Dec 2016 applications but my ELIS account says competition will be in Aug 2018 so only 8-9 months from now...  you can find those times here:
