yeah. I've been busy getting ready to go back to the Philippines. I am leaving in 2 weeks. I am so excited.

@John & Rose hey man congratulations in advance. after that RFE is an approval. Been busy couple of days and can't back read everything. what was your RFE?

It is the strangest thing.  I was in a bit of a "safe place" while waiting and I got used to it.  Now that I have responded to the RFE things are becoming real.  Yesterday I was worried about waiting and wondering if they lost my petition.  Today I wake up realizing that at 57 I am about to buy a house and move my true love and her two teenagers half way across the earth to start a new life in a strange land.  Living alone for 7 years was easy.  Just pick up whatever I want for dinner on the way home from work.  Go home to a clean and comfortable space with no worries except the wait.  It is scary.  
 
Don't get me wrong, I am embracing and looking forward to these changes but reality finally struck after 260+ days of no word at all.  It is so strange how the mind works.  I guess I was getting used to the wait and become complacent.  Now I need to truly plan the rest of my life.  That is exciting and scary.

Once it says your inquiry is complete they usually send a letter afterward.

That is better than "your petition is pending assignment to an adjudicator"  just barely....

called uscis. and they transferred me to an officer. he told me to wait for the letter LOL. Wasted.

hahaha! that made me laugh so hard. Inquire everyday. LOL although i will try to call what is the response to my inquiry that said complete.
