In response to the original question: I try to avoid answering the door at all, but the missionaries usually return. I finally told some particularly persistent ones (LDS) that Mrs. T-B. & I were firm in our faith, that I appreciated their dedication, and that their efforts would be better spent talking with other people. They replied, "Awesome -- thanks!" and they left.
When non-LDS members come by and offer literature, either about their church or religion itself, I thank them for their interest, state that we're already firm in our faith, & politely suggest that their literature would be far more meaningful to other people.
There's no need to be defensive or defiant, I've found, because these people all mean well, si man.

Then they tried to get the black guy in Florida to quit so the White guy could beat the Hispanic and now they are going to kick out Nancy, and force the leading black member of congress to drive her care for her after they take away her airplane(s)

On stardate 5832.3, the USS Enterprise is in hot pursuit of the stolen spacecraft Aurora, which is heading into the dangerous Romulan Neutral Zone. The Enterprise locks onto the ship with a tractor beam, but the Aurora tries to flee. With the craft already straining with pushed engines, the vessel begins to break up.
Captain Kirk orders the transporter room to lock on the passengers and beam them aboard immediately. As the Aurora explodes, the six humanoid passengers are safely brought aboard the Enterprise. Kirk heads down to meet with them and is shocked by their wild appearance. The six beings are barefoot, dressed in lavish robes and colorful tunics. Despite their close brush with death, they appear completely calm and relaxed as if nothing has happened.
The group quickly shows a disrespect for authority and demands to be taken to a planet they call "Eden" (a reference to Garden of Eden). Eden's existence is believed to be a myth, however. After interviewing him, Spock concludes that Sevrin is clinically insane.

I have been studying, for college, the direct correlation between the filth we see on television and the way our language has deteriorated in general.
Do you feel that language, poor language at that, has had an impact?
Do you feel that people swear more now than they used to?
