So guys, I am beyond frustrated I see where a lot of people who filed after us are either getting their EAD Cards or Interview scheduled. I am sick and tired of dealing with this bureaucracy.  Now, I am at a point where I am starting to wonder if the SR or expedite request really works. I put in an expedite request on October 20th, based on job offer - I got a letter in the mail to fax more proof - I faxed job offer letter to them.  I saw on their site where expedite request was assigned to officer and completed from October 23rd, but still no word on that,  Its now  39 days since expedite request -  26 days since SR is made, SR is yet to be assigned to an officer.  October 16th I contacted my local Congressman's Office to look into my case, I was referred to the Senator's Office.  I contacted Senator's office I was directed to print some immigration release form from their site, fill it out and fax to them - I did just that - On October 20th I received a letter in the mail from Senator's Office that they have contacted the appropriate officials at USCIS and asked them to look into my case and provide a response to them.  Well at this point I am hoping that they will pull my file this week and respond to the Senator's office enquiry. My case is now at 106 days and not even a word, so I am a bit concern as to what is really happening - now that I am seeing folks who filed long after us getting EAD cards.  Someone, anybody, can you shed some light on what's going on - I am sick and tired of this #######.

I also want to suggest you to make an in person appointment to talk to the officer in the local office. That was what i did after i called the customer service multiple times to raise SRs and Expedite Request but got useless response. But when i went to the appointment, the officer in my local office was able to put a personal note to the officer in charge in National Benefits Center for expedite. I went there last Monday, and i got this letter this Monday even with several holidays in between. I had another friend also had her EAD pending for more than 90 days and she did the appointment and got her response in a week. 
 
side notes about online infopass appointment, they release the appointment time slots Mon-Fri 12:00am, usually it will be gone in a few minutes, so you have to be very very quick in checking right at 12:00am, and if you laptop keyboard already store your personal info, you will be able to fill the form much faster. That's how i got my appointment on Monday at a Sunday midnight.

Nope, no updates (no mail and no online status changes). I guess I'll keep my fingers crossed for receiving the combo card before Christmas. 😪 

Still on Fingerprint Fee Received. Getting antsy waiting for a date now but haven’t put in a SR yet. Will wait til after Christmas and then I will start to badger them.. It is frustrating having to wait at every step like this. I can’t wait until I can finally apply for citizenship and be done with it.

My PD August 7th still waiting for my employment card 🙄, I don't know why is taking way too long for all of us who filed in August, praying for great news soon !!!

This. Honestly, I wish there was a way for someone to be held accountable for the nightmare (I don't even think this is an exaggeration anymore) we have to go through. Waiting and worrying for your AOS application is inevitable, sure, but the EAD?! Seriously? I'm simply curious to find out what kind of a system will choose for applicants who have filed MONTHS after some of us to be able to look for jobs as we speak, while the rest of us are sitting here wondering what more we could possibly do just to have somebody tell us not doing anything is actually better. I didn't really start worrying about it or did anything until after 4 months had passsed because I noticed it was all moving way too slow. So far contacting our Congresswoman's office doesn't really seem to help, as it's just another person calling them on your behalf, which apparently doesn't bother them in any way at all. At this point I feel like a simple explanation for the delay would suffice and then I would wait at peace for as long as it takes, but every time I call, somebody just files a SR on my behalf, and before I know it conversation is over and I don't even get to request to speak with a Tier 2 officer. I know a lot of us are going through the same thing and there isn't really much that could be done about it, but it's just so unfair and in all honesty - it's an extreme financial drain on our household's only income, even though we get a little bit of help from our parents. A slightly different scenario would make survival nearly impossible for us. Call it what you will, nothing could encourage me to work illegally more than the process of obtaining an EAD.

I just looked at your VJ timeline, i can't believe they approved your advance parole and not the work authorisation. I am the primary applicant and i didn't start to worry until everyone that filed under my application got a response/approval but me. I called and all they had to say was that everyone's application is treated differently. At this point i don't even mind them not sending my EAD (i hope they do), but my interview is the most important now, considering i've had to wait almost 7 months for my EAD.

A big fat "noooooooope".

With tears rolling down my eyes, I am happy to report that my EAD was approved after 205 days today (RD May 1st, NSC). 3 SRs, 2 expedite requests, multiple inquiries by congressional office. Waiting for the card now.

Done with the AOS interview. We were approved right after. Got an I-551 stamp on my passport as well.  Things are going super fast at the Indianapolis field office. 2.5 months to approval since NOA-1 is pretty fast. Good luck to all September filers. I am sure y'all are going to hear some real good news pretty soon  I have also put in a brief review of the interview with some of the blunders I made that you could and should avoid.

Oh my god you guys, I'm shaking as i type this but just got a message on the app that my card is being produced!!! Thank god things are finally moving!! I think we all will get great news by the end of the week!!! So happy!!  

Hey @Aviinashh as much as I want to believe on this, I cant. Still nothing from my end.

If they can concentrate more on working on our cases than updating website, am sure we would've received our EADs by now. 

Yes, it's definitely reassuring to be able to people who are going through the same thing. I didn't think the EAD/AP was entirely reliant on the 485, but maybe. The EAD/AP seems to be taking up to 120 days, so we may still hear by Dec 06.
