I am a Brooklyn filer and I got notification that my interview is scheduled now idk if my center will be Brooklyn or New York City 

Yes ofc if your renewal ead is pending more than 6 month from your receipt day u can apply for expedited 

I expedited my case for i765 and sent them proof and next day they sent interview letter and the next day they approved my ead renew

I spoke to my lawyer. She said I got my medical done in 2017 and policy came out in 2018 
u might or might not need the medical if u wants risk and go ahead without it u May, but if they ask you they ll make you do medical and will delay the case so it’s better to get it done than be sorry about it. So I ll get the medical done this week.

Yes my extended ead time ends in May. 
My lawyer did send e request of out of processing time but they didn’t really reply to that. If I didn’t get till May I ll loose my job I work as doctor. My new contract starts in July . Will calling them would help ? I live inNew York our congressman will not do anything they are too busy to look to anyone.  

I sent mine in May 2018 for renew. And I got receipt in 2 weeks.. and In that receipt it says that we have received your application and working on it . Also mention about extension of old ead for 180 days if u don’t get new ead on time. And the. After  a week I got another notice saying we are using ur old biometrtic information. Then after two weeks from this receipt I checked online it says your fingerprint review was completed. Now I m just waiting to get approve and receive and also waiting for interview for I-465.

Finally my Ead card came in a mail so happy that was fast cuz I got approval letter yesterday..

EAD arrived today! I got NOA on Nov. 30th last week with an approval date of 11/27/17, which means it took exactly a week after approval date.
 
They sent it on Friday, December 1st and it only took three days, counting Saturday and Sunday too.

Also USA isn't welcoming when it's come to my country so I really don't take any risk going out of USA even with advance parole so I ll wait for my green card and I m not in a rush. 

My lawyer didn't apply for combo card cuz my i94 is valid till April 2018 
I received ead in the mail on Friday

But my interivew is ready to be schedule since October 18 2017 
it's almost 45 days since my status changed and my lawyer said it ll two month to get letter but I m not sure how sure she is cuz I was checking my field office and they are dealing with september cases 2016 so I think it's gonna take a while to get one

Well it depends where you filling from and which field office is taking care of ur case s and you can find that out in uscis website. It's vary person to person and state to state for example NYC and Texas are busiest states here it ll take almost 9 to 11 month to have interivew and North Carolina and Oregon these are small states so they are not so busy so that's why it's quicker to get interivew there. 
But you have to check which field office is taking care of ur case and then track it online. You will able to see what cases they are upto 

It's okay I m not crazily waiting for Iv notice I m happy I got Ead which I needed the most

I m so happyyyyyyyyy I got Ead approval on mail today. That my card is been approved will get card soon in a mail as well 
today is best day ever
