These are different processes. Joint filing has no impact on which process you use.

 

If you were supposed to get a 10 year green card and you get a 2 year green card, it would be an I-90 to fix the issue.

You wife must bring the original signed from you to visa interview. I just got mine in these few days via her friend who came here.

Hi @Abies, how are you doing ? I got interview apportionment email from NVC which will be on 17-Dec. 
- Will I receive any email or pre-interview checklist for civil docs from my local embassy which I will interview ?
- My original police certificate will expire on 18-Dec, 1 day after interview. is it fine to use it for interview or need to get a new one before interview ?
- Can I use passport photo that submitted to NVC last 2 months for medical examination and interview ?

its a month today after CC, hope to get good news within this week as everyone said NVC is still scheduling up to 16th or 18th. 🙏🙏🙏

I think it depends on how your embassy free or busy. someone here got 1-3 months in my country embassy.

NVC already scheduled interview appointment in Nov for those who got CC in previous months, the rest would interview in Dec. Lets keep praying, we are going to have interview date news in Nov.

Just notice on your docs, the RED wont change. when you uploaded all of it one by one, it will show COMPLETED then changed to SUBMITTED when you clicked the RED.  Best of luck

i just checked on CEAC and saw it all were accepted, if there is anything missing they will let you know in email or message box.

mine was 12 days to get reviewed from NVC after completed submission AOS and IV, then all were accepted. you will get it soon. Best of luck.

YES, congrats   NVC will send email to you within a week for your Immigrant Visa Case becoming Documentarily Qualified. then they will be working with your country embassy to schedule for your interview date and will let you know the date. Hope we will have this soon.
