Illegal Alien Who Killed Nun Was on Obama’s Supervised Release
The deadly results of President Obama’s “supervised release” program for illegal immigrants were exposed long ago by a Judicial Watch investigation of a Bolivian national (Carlos Martinelly-Montano) who killed a Virginia nun in a drunk-driving accident.
A Homeland Security report obtained in the course of JW’s probe details policies and actions of the Obama administration and local governments that allowed Montano, an illegal alien who committed a series of crimes, to remain on the streets despite being subject to deportation. Rather than detaining Montano, federal authorities determined that he was a candidate for the Alternatives to Detention (ATD) program, which supposedly monitored his whereabouts.
On August 1, 2010, while under the influence of alcohol, Montano crashed his car into another vehicle, killing one nun and critically injuring two others. Last year he was sentenced to 20 years in prison, but the fact remains that the tragedy never should have occurred. Federal immigration authorities never should have freed Montano under Obama’s outrageous “supervised release” program.

Donald Trump sought to sell Americans on his tough approach to immigration on Friday, meeting in Philadelphia with the family of a woman who was killed in a 2007 shooting that involved people who came to the United States illegally.
Trump this week unveiled a hardline immigration plan that emphasized deporting illegal immigrants who commit crimes. His plan was cheered by other immigration critics, but some Hispanic backers and moderate Republicans felt it lacked compassion toward millions of people in the United States illegally.
At least one of the people convicted in the 2007 shootings was in the United States illegally, according to a New York Times report in 2010 about the trials. Another had likely entered the country illegally and later gained legal status, the paper said.
Shalga Hightower, 55, Iofemi's mother, said her family endured seven years of legal trials, as well as a period of homelessness and job loss. Asked if she would be supporting Trump for president, she said yes.
Her son, Jamar Hightower, 26, said Trump was the only person paying attention to the problem of crimes committed by people living in the United States illegally.
"I feel as though this man is the only one that’s actually standing up to do something about it," Jamar Hightower said. "This is not a problem that just started. They’ve been here."

You know, I generally stay away from the political posts and I certainly have had NO respect for Hillary considering her a stupid, theiving, corrupt, liar. I am finding myself starting to go over to the dark side. From what I see she is definetly not stupid. She is playing the public and the FBI like no one could ever think possible. She appears to be a lawyer at the top of her game manipulating the system with perfection. I am impressed.
She also had the 700 fbi files in her possession from the first stint in the white house ....

I nearly fell out of my chair upon reading the very first paragraph of the notes of Clinton’s interview, which identifies the lawyers for Clinton who were permitted to be present for the interview. Among them is Cheryl Mills, Clinton’s longtime confidant and chief-of-staff at the State Department. Readers may recall that I suggested back in May that “the fix” was in in the investigation of the Clinton emails. The reason was that the Justice Department was allowing Cheryl Mills – a witness, if not a subject, of the investigation – to invoke attorney-client privilege on behalf of Mrs. Clinton in order to thwart the FBI’s attempt to inquire into the procedure used to produce Clinton’s emails to the State Department. Mills was a participant in that procedure – and it is the procedure in which, we now know, well over 30,000 emails were attempted to be destroyed, including several thousand that contained government-related business.When she worked for Clinton at State, Mills was not acting in the capacity of a lawyer – not for then-Secretary Clinton and not for the State Department. Moreover, as Clinton’s chief-of-staff, Mills was intimately involved in issues related to Clinton’s private email set up, the discussions about getting her a secure BlackBerry similar to President Obama’s, and questions that were raised (including in FOIA requests) about Clinton’s communications. That is to say, Mills was an actor in the facts that were under criminal investigation by the FBI. Put aside that she was not Mrs. Clinton’s lawyer while working for the State Department; as I explained in the May column, Mills, after leaving the State Department, was barred by ethical rules from acting as Mrs. Clinton’s lawyer “in connection with a matter in which the lawyer participated personally and substantially as a public officer or employee.” There is no way Mills should have been permitted to participate as a lawyer in the process of producing Clinton’s emails to the State Department nearly two years after they’d both left. I thought it was astonishing that the Justice Department indulged her attorney-client privilege claim, which frustrated the FBI’s ability to question her on a key aspect of the investigation.But it is simply unbelievable to find her turning up at Mrs. Clinton’s interview – participating in the capacity of a lawyer under circumstances where Clinton was being investigated over matters in which Mills participated as a non-lawyer government official.

She clearly did not need another lawyer. And it is Criminal Investigations 101 that law enforcement never interviews witnesses together – the point is to learn the truth, not provide witnesses/suspects with an opportunity to keep their story straight, which undermines the search for truth

i'm not questioning the ability to make one's own bullets or gun for that matter. i'm just saying, building from scratch is not the preferred method of shipping guns in and out and around the country. and while buying guns at gander mountain and walmart or wherever and selling them illegally is certainly an issue, these purchases don't comprise the majority of illegal guns. i'm scratching my head at why lib wants this guy to do 50 years. what good would 50 years do anyone? societal benefit comes from preventing these sorts of crimes from happening in the first place, not draconian sentencing after the fact. i also don't really know how one justifies jailing a gun runner but scoffing when parents of slain children sue a gun or bullet manufacturer. the judge in this article stated that people kill people, guns don't - and lib is taking the opposite stance, that this man should be tried considering any potential murders or maiming another person might have hypothetically inflicted using one of these guns. just, doesn't make sense to me to be for strict sentencing in one case and champion personal responsibility and the absolute of the 2nd amendment in all others.

You want to deter these folks from selling illegal handguns . Make them do the time ... And a lot of it. and get them off the street. Not make it harder for law abiding folks to make a purchase . Sue that gun mfg ..... We don't ever hear liberals talking about suing ford when a thug steals a car ... or an illegal drives without a license and killing...a family .. You must support a family suing ford when a illegal kills a family .. right.. Need that law changed allowing them to do so .. right ???

On Monday, Hillary Clinton spoke at the Rainbow PUSH Coalition‘s annual convention in Chicago, Illinois. The organization, founded by Reverend Jesse Jackson, invited Clinton to speak about a number of topics including gun violence. Clinton’s primary focus was gun violence and introducing legislation to require background checks for the purchase of a firearm. Those two cities have been run by nothing but Democrats…and many of them black Democrats for…forever.
Republicans can never be blamed for Chicago or Detroit. Everything that happened was on Obama and Hillary’s watch…or other Democrat politicians with views and policies exactly like them. The result? Black genocide of epic proportions.
Chicago is spiraling out of control. Blacks are killing blacks in numbers impossible to even imagine- in the city with the strictest gun control laws in America. Obama wants to disarm all the rest of us- the same way he and his fellow liberals have disarmed the good, law-abiding black citizens of Chicago. He wants to leave us as defenseless sitting ducks, just as he’s left his black constituents in Chicago.
What a fine job Democrats have done. We all know about the massive debt, violence, poverty and hopelessness in Chicago and Detroit. Detroit has already been officially declared bankrupt. The street lights are out. The abandoned buildings are everywhere. Homes sell at auction for $1. All that massive spending on welfare and social services by black Democrats, for black Democrats, has left a city in ruins. A bankrupt hell hole that looks like a third world Middle Eastern war zone in the middle of America.
