Can someone please PM me the letter that they recently got from Knightsbridge if possible? I know some of the requirements of change like the amount of pictures and stuff like that.

wow. thats feels better than being alone. Im having nightmares when they finally admit they lost the whole application. As far as effective torture goes they have it down to a science.

It is a ridiculous situation I admit...

No need to wait for NVC number. You can fill out DS-160 any time and use the WAC#

Oh my gosh! If they're getting stuff out to the NVC in 4-ish weeks or 30-ish days,  that would be awesome!  It could mean they're getting caught up, which is great news for everyone!
 
Please let us know whatever you find out!  Our NOA2 is only nine days after yours! YEEE so exciting LOL.  

I’m trying to look at the positive amongst their total disregard for us in this process and all I could come up with is that I have a new found deep sympathy for immigrants and immigration. I never knew the extent of how torturous it can feel to have your fate in a government’s hands. I sometimes get so upset over this process it’s hard to get out of bed, and yet I have it good. My loved one is safe. After this process I would really love to help immigrants and immigration somehow. 

The affidavit form he had sent you should include a statement from his employer confirming he is in a good standing. Does it?
Anyway, in general I don't think this is a problem. If the affidavit is signed while he is employed, then it is truthful and correct. Also the affidavit of support states that he is going to support you, not that he will never be changing jobs. 
I would certainly run this question by a lawyer but I don't see any reason for a concern while you are at the interview.  

JUST GOT MY NVC NUMBER!
This was the email, so I'm not sure what to do now, also I have to guess it was today, since we called yesterday and they had nothing.

Call USCIS and ask about your case, a Tier 2 will tell you if they sent it to NVC.

Call for the number. Mine was also received on Monday the 8th, they assigned the number today, Wednesday the 10th.

🎉 noa2 case info: Filed May 17th 2017, noa2 4th November 2017, sent to nvc 20th Dec 2017. At no point did I recieve any info via online incl. App or mail. I have been at a loss, USCIS haven't helped wit my journey so far or had a clue.  I now have a case number and can start the final journey. I have only just found only today all of this info all at once 🤔🇬🇧🇺🇸

Dont worry, they say 2 weeks but call back in 2 or 3 days, ill bet you have a case numbet then....they told me the same thing on thurs evening...today monday we have case number!

the background has to be consistent, a border will cause issues... I agree its ridiculous to pay Walgreens or the post office a ton of $$$ for a picture but they have better tools... and really its nothing in the bigger picture. see if they can assist. 

Ok, I'll keep trying.  Worried about one we have to take to consulate.  Need to find a place to get it right.

Thank u for that bit of information I'm 229 days end so having the Informed Delivery option will help ease my mind a little since USCIS seems not to be updating the website timely. They offer the service in my area so I just signed up. I love online shopping and do a lot of shipping/ receiving but never knew the Post Office offered this service. You learn something new everyday! Hmm
