I don’t know about electronic vs not, but I’m glad to see that they found your case again, I’m sure you were really freaked out about that. 👍

It’s ok, you aren’t the first person this has happened to.  I’ve seen this happen when there is about to be a change or update on a case.  It’s been suggested that the case “disappears” from the system when it is being accessed or adjusted.  Just try calling again and if they tell you the same thing, just hang up and try again a little later.  But don’t worry, your case is there and didn’t actually disappear anywhere.  I wouldn’t doubt you get your case number soon too.  

Our case took 22 days to arrive at NVC but our case number was available the next day and it was “in-transit” the day after that.

This is the availability for the London Embassy as of now guys.  You can schedule your medical at Knightsbridge as soon as you have your case number.  To schedule your interview though, you’ll need your case to show “in-transit” on CEAC.  The scheduling system won’t allow you to do it before then but it usually only takes a few days for that to happen.  
 

That’s the week I’m hoping for as well since our good friends wedding is June 23rd haha!
 
Unfortunately, that’s the only thing to do .. take it day by day. I’ll admit though this whole process has definitely helped me become more patient that’s for sure!

That’s good to know! Our NOA2 date is 4/27 but we were notified of the update on 4/30 so we are hoping to receive notification that they’ve received our case by the end of next week 🤞🏻

Just called NVC and got my case number.  !!!!! It only took a day for them to give it to me from when they received it!

NVC #: May 8th

There is a big chance of it changing during the day. the best time to call is after 6pm est. I used to call 10am est then 7 pm est.
 
They receive it from different companies not just post office so for fedex and ups they said they can’t give an exact time. (And apparently all are being used regularly) 
 

If you don’t get the date you want at Knightsbridge, just keep calling them to check for cancellations.  We originally had 12th of May but after a week of calling there was finally a cancellation for the next day and my fiancé was able to do his medical last Thursday.  There’s still hope!

Excited to get the case number in a few days.

Ours took 22 days to arrive at NVC but then it was sent to London Embassy pretty quickly so that kinda made up for the wait.  I’m sure yours will arrive any day now!  Crossing fingers for you.

Yes!  You can schedule your medical at Knightsbridge.  They will just ask for your case number when making the appointment.  If NVC has your email address, you should be getting an email with your case number as well.  I just forwarded that to my fiancé who printed it out and took it with him to the appointment.  Alternatively, you can print a copy of your status on CEAC if you need to.  I’m pretty sure they just want something to show your case number on it.  Monday is a UK bank holiday, unfortunately, so call Knightsbridge on Tuesday to schedule your medical.  They open at 9am.  Surprisingly, when we scheduled my fiancé’s appointments, the Embassy actually had much sooner availability.  I called Knightsbridge everyday for a week asking about cancellations and we were eventually able to get an appointment 9 days sooner.  You might not be that fussed about getting a sooner date but, just so you know, it is possible.  
 
Yes, DS-160 can be completed now as well.  Some of the questions can be confusing and the page times out quickly so we printed out a blank copy of the questions and filled it out ahead of time.  Then we just went back and plugged in the answers.  Of course, this isn’t necessary but we found it helpful.  Alternatively, just keep saving as you go along so that you’re not stuck having to re-complete sections you’ve already done.  Sooo annoying.    Lol
