Hello lovely people, a newly approved Berrie here, march 26th. I'm still waiting for the actual letter, but we're approved on the website, so that means this is my new home now? I'm excited to begin the last weeks/months to POE!
NOA1: Sept 5th (according to the old website) or Sept 7th (according to the update website)
NOA2: March 26th

So Berries, I was about to lose all hope today and decided to make a new account on the updated USCIS website (even though we still have the old one)
And once I scrolled down, it said "We approved your case"!!!!!!!! Apparently that happened 2 days ago on the 26th.
I couldn't believe it, tripple checked our case number, but it's true
The old website didn't update our case, so we didn't get a text or email.
So I guess we're waiting for the physical letter now, but OMG!
Also the old website says received date september 5th, but the new one says september 7th.
So we got approved in 200 or 202 days.
If anyone is still waiting and hasn't made a new account yet, I recommend doing that, just in case.
Good luck to those who are still waiting, my thoughts go out to you

So, we're officially in the 200's, today is day 201. According to the updated USCIS website we will be eligible to request an inquiry in about 12 days, so fingers crossed it doesn't have to come to that. But for now, we're just sitting back trying to be patient..
Congrats to all those who received NOA2 and good luck to those who are still waiting!

It's nice to see people getting approved, but tbh it does sting a little when people with a later date get approved before you. Going into 189 days and all I can say is that I feel bad for those who've been waiting over 200-250 days. I hope their NOA2's come soon cause they deserve it. Stay strong berries!

Hey guys, I have been reading along for months now, and I'm so glad with how far we've come and how soon we'll get our NOA2's!!
Special thanks for @Naes cause what would we do without you
But if anyone could help me, cause I feel like I'm not out of the woods yet.
4 months ago I posted in this topic, cause there was alot going on with our petition and usps, not receiving our NOA1 etc
(we filed august 30th)
Back then this is what our case status was:
QuoteOn September 22, 2017, the Post Office returned your document to us. We will hold your document for 180 days or until March 21, 2018. Please go to www.uscis.gov/e-request to request that we resend the document to you. If you do not submit an online request by March 21, 2018, we will destroy your document and you will need to file a new Form I-129F, Petition for Fiance(E), with fee. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.
We contacted uscis, they told us that the document they were talking about was NOA1
So we put a request in and by the end of october they re-sent it and we got it.
(the paperwork stated NOA1 - sept 5th)
This is all very awesome, but our case status still hasn't changed online.
I'm kinda lost on what we should do? If we should do anything at all.
Because NOA2 is around the same date they state we have to file a new form.
So I wanted to ask you guys first before calling them, since they're finally on a roll.
To end on a positive note: Every minute passed is a minute closer to when we get to marry our loved ones!!!
Just keep swimming

Update: the post office can't help us cause we don't have a tracking number
And my fiancée called USCIS again, put in the referral number I found online and now apparently, the document that was sent back from the post office to USCIS was our package. So somehow California received our package and then it was sent back to the post office and then the post office sent it back to California.
No USCIS officer was available to explain exactly what was going on so we have to wait and call back later. I'm slightly starting to lose my mind here 😩

You guys, after waiting for 30 days, like good puppies, we contacted USCIS. Because we never received NOA1 via text, email or post.
The officer told my fiancée they received it on the 5th of September and did send out NOA1, but apparently the post office messed up. We got our receipt number and I checked the status online, it says that the post sent it back to USCIS and that they are holding it for 180 days if we do not request to get it back.
However our adress was correct and the officer on the phone said he was going to try to resend it. Now my fiancée is going to the post office to try to figure out what went wrong, so it doesn't happen again with NOA2.
Also he said that they are behind and they're still working on March! So we're looking at a 7 month wait for now.
As for my case:
Date sent: 08/30
Date received: 09/05
Date NOA1 sent: 09/07
Date NOA1 received: to be continued
I hope everyone has a good day and I hope you found this somewhat helpful/interesting
I'll keep you posted
Happy waiting everyone

Hey everyone, I was hoping someone could help me. My fiancée and I have sent our I-129F package to Dallas on August 30th. My fiancée saw that our check was cashed September 8th. Yet we still haven't received NOA1, no text, no email, no hardcopy. We did attach the G-1145. So it's been 3 weeks and still nothing. I am stressing out like crazy. My question: what is the longest we should wait until we contact them? What are the normal waiting times for NOA1?

every case is different i sent my package on 09/21 it made it on 09/25 and i received NOA1 today however my check wasnt cashed so i would think if they cashed your check you should be good did you submit a e-notification G-1145 if not i believe through the mail it could take 7-10 business days maybe more
We did send the G-1145, I guess patience is key

in K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports
Posted
Hey Marchies, kind of conflicted here, I've been looking at the sample forms here on the website to get an idea of the I-134 and the DS-160. Been trying to fill them out, but...
So on the I-134 there's a question for the sponsor: "I have submitted a visa petition(s) to U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services on behalf of the following persons. (If none, write "None" in the space for name below)." The sample filled out the beneficiary's info, so that's yes, I assume they're talking about the K-1 here
And on the DS-160 there's a question for the beneficiary:
"Has anyone ever filed an immigrant petition on your behalf with the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services?" The sample said "NO"
Now from what I've read in this topic, I should put no on the DS-160, cause they're probably referring to a petition before the K-1, but I don't understand what my fiancé should put on the I-134
Hopefully someone can help me
