Yassssss! Won't definitely take that long! I am excited for you and Marian. She said she was relieved because it's not a difficult RFE. We told her to get the photos done quickly so she can send it to you by today. 

Whewww! That will be an easy fix. Tell her to send a digital 2x2 with white background. You can run to the nearest Walmart or any photo shops to get it printed. Send it immediately, next would be approval. I am still glad even when it's an RFE. Congratulations! 

Either white or off white is ok.  On the USCIS Passport photo requirements page they state:  "Use a plain white or off-white background"

This is the same requirements that will be used with the DS-160 and by the Embassy.
 

Out of curiosity, I made a new account from the new USCIS website to check if my case will still show as ''RECEIVED".
 
Whoooaaaa! My received date was actually August 25 but they put the Notice Date of August 29. Same as my approval date, we were approved March 1 but they put the Notice date of March 2. I don't know if I will be elated or not.  But at least it seems like their system have updated and they made an upgrade.

@Trinab80 GOT APPROVED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! She's a MAY 2017 FILER who haven't heard anything since noa1. Oh my, I am so happy! 

Yes everyone, after 305 days which is 10 months and 5 days my fiance and I finally got approved on March 22nd.  No RFE or NOID...just over 10 months for our approval. 
 
Try not to get discouraged....your time is coming!!

Thanks for the heads up!! I made an account and checked it with my breath held but it's still 'Received'. Damnit this wait is taking it's toll...

Sad it's not an approval. 
RFE....But super easy.
They only want 1 photo of each of us. 
Crazy... i sent 2 of each with petition.
 
Either way... is what it is.

After I just did that, now I see the updates to mycase.
Clearly says now that they sent an rfe on the 12th and that's what's waiting for me at my house.

Well unfortunately we know fromm prior months that USCIS seems to be fulfilling an RFE quota.
Half the people getting RFEs are actually for things already sent- not necessarily someone being careless like some people think. 

It sucks that they're stalling people's lives like this. But it's an easy fix for you so that's good.

Or regular photo to prove you met in person?

If passport photo, I recall someone in the other threads saying their fiance sent it to them digitally and they just printed it and made sure it's the correct size. I ask because usually the issue with passport photos tend to be the BACKGROUND. Make sure it's off white and clear. That can be hard when all these phones and scanners are adding their own colors all over the place. Lol

if it's any regular photo, just grab one off ur phone and print!

RFE APPROVED!!! Apparently it was approved on March 21, but the app only updated to show it today. Yay!!!

Just got an email today. WE got approved last March 21. A month after they updated that we have RFE. I sent the rfe 28th.Im so happy. So what’s next again on the process? Goodluck to everyone waiting. Just be patient. 

So, fiancée just relayed to me what Tier 2 told her. 
 
Apparently it says that a request for evidence was ordered but no note on whether or not it was actually sent - apparently there is an area on the system that says when it is sent. He’s made a note on our file to say that they need to either resend the RFE or actually issue one.

Fiancée is on the phone to a Tier 2 right now. Fingers crossed everyone.

Just check your status online. 
They will add it to your case history section.
Then when they assign an officer to it,they will update again.

I am so upset and angry, I just want to cry. Had we received this RFE, we could be potentially further into the process. The goal was to be there for the second week of May and it's looking less likely as the days go on. So hearing this is very frustrating. 

No, the call was disconnected prematurely, so my fiancee is back in line again. 
 
Just posted this on the main board but I'll post it here too:
 
1) told by Tier 2 on the 23rd February that our case is being processed.
2) wait for one week, contact Tier 2 and get told that an RFE was sent on the 22nd February.
3) wait for approximately two weeks, contact Tier 2 and get told that there was no RFE sent. 
4) call Tier 2 the following day and get told that the RFE is internal and we won't receive anything.
5) eventually submit an inquiry about the elusive RFE and being outside normal processing times.
6) receive an email yesterday telling us that an RFE was sent out on the 22nd February, hence why we are "outside of processing times".
7) quickly receive another email in response to the elusive RFE, saying that on "03/08/2018, you contacted USCIS regarding a missing RFE, below is a summary of what we found: Your case is currently being adjudicated." What does this mean?
8) talked to a Tier 2 today and get told that there is no RFE on the system.
 

So according to tier 2, we don’t have a RFE on the system. I’m getting seriously annoyed now.
