Hola, yo saque primero el SSN por que lo necesitabamos para que mi esposo llenara los formularios de beneficiaria en todas sus cuentas (Banco, seguro de vida, de salud, del carro, etc). Despues que El me vinculo a todas sus cuentas, las incluimos como documentos de soporte al paquete de mi peticion de residencia en diciembre; en octubre fuimos a la entrevista y en noviembre del ano pasado me llego la green card a mi casa.  

Hola felicitaciones, yo te recomiendo en ir a pedir tu SS , te lo entregan en tres días , llevas el original de tu certificado de matrimonio y tú pasaporte, y después envías los papeles para el ajuste con tu número de SS, igual tienes 90 días para hacer el ajuste así que aún tienes tiempo

Mi visa K1 fue aprobada en la entrevista el pasado 27 de noviembre y la consul me informor que mi visa llegaria en 2 semanas. Sin embargo ya voy a cumplir 3 semanas y hasta el momento en el CEAC sigue apareciendo en estatus READY y no tenemos informacion de que esta pasando o cuanto tiempo tomara para que retornen el pasaporte con la visa?
 
Generalmente cuanto se puede tardar en recibir el pasaporte desde la entrevista?

Son 15 días hábiles para que te llegue la visa. Solo es cuestión de esperar unos días más, no te preocupes. También depende de en que ciudad te encuentres. Buena suerte!

Now i had my interview on november 20 i am on ap agsin, they are reviewing some court papers because there was a record on my name, that record was delated because it was a mistake, i hope ap be over soon.

6/3/2015 - interview. visa approved pending receipt of medical records.
6/5/2015 - medical records received
6/9/2015 - worldwide visa printing system crash
6/25/2015 - visa issued & printed according to CEAC
7/7/2015 - called DHL Bogota. Informed us visa would be ready for pickup in 2 days.
7/9/2015 - received visa at DHL office. (37 days from interview)
Whew! Finally. My wife will fly to USA on Monday.
