This is good! The week before tier 2 told me I was approved, I called and they said my case had just gotten back from a background check and will be adjudicated now so thats why i called the next week. stay strong! You're almost there!! 

We finally got our case number!  Our case is on the new fussy electronic system (option 5 instead of 7 when you call the NVC) and it took exactly two weeks, just as @Justmel had told me it seemed to be doing for many others on the same system.
 
If you are on the electronic system and it's taking forever -- don't give up hope!  Your case hasn't fallen into the bardo!

Thanks for the kind words. Actually, my week was made when I found out that @John & Rose from June finally heard some news and will be moving on.

Just wanted to also update you guys here! Our case went from in transit to ready - in a matter of 6 hours. He's scheduling everything now! So very exciting!

I just woke up to the news that our case is ready at the embassy. LOL

@Van & Tiger my case was electronic and it took exactly 2 weeks to receive my case number.

I received packet 3 yesterday my email at 3pm, and I replied with what documents they wanted by 8pm. They sent me packet 4 my email this morning 11am. Telling me to book my interview and medical (I already did when I was in Transit).

I got the case number and the invoice number over the phone from a nice CSR at NVC last night.  When I said "Thanks, now I can follow our case online," he said "No, you can't check your case status online.  That is for informational purposes only."  We checked the case number last night and it said "at the NVC" and this morning it said "In Transit."  Today we got an e-mail stating it had been sent to Egypt and an attachment which was a letter addressed to my fiancé.  So, just letting you guys know what happened so you can know what to expect.  Like I said earlier, our I-129F was approved on February 6th.  I hope you all have speedy approvals!  By the way, the letter to my fiancé said that the transit to the embassy could take weeks.  I thought it only took days since it is scanned.  I will let you all know what happens next.  Good luck in all your cases!  I hope your loved ones are with you soon!

We also got our NVC case number today! I'm hoping that Frankfurt can get it processed very quickly. We're very very ready to leave this place to go to USA (I came here to be with her during this nightmare visa process).

FINALLY! We're scheduled. Couldn't get in on March 6, but we're scheduled for March 27! 
So excited! Sent an email to the Dr. to schedule an appointment!
Booking my travel to Rio so I can be there for the interview. 
Can't believe we are finally this close!

July 31st filer here, we received our NOA 2 approval in the mail today! It's dated 13th of February.
The website is still only showing it was received on the 31st by the way.

 

Yeh I hear ya. USCIS pretty much ended my 3.5 year relationship, but I'll still run scans. Not something I want to talk about in public though.
