    Hey!

No, she was not asked for any evidence. They only asked her why she needed the stamp and she said she needed to visit her mother who is old and sick.

That being said, if you do have any documentation, i would take it anyways just in case. I think these appointments can vary depending on who is the person that sees you on the day of your appointment. Perhaps they will ask you for something. If you have it take it!

My wife just got back from her Info Pass appointment today. We were seeking an extension to her Temp GC and they stamped her passport with the I-551 with a 1 year extension.

The process was very easy for those thinking and wanting to schedule one.

I called this past Tuesday Sept 6th and after waiting for about 25 minutes a very nice lady took all our information. She said they'd call us within 30 days. Well, for us they called us back in TWO days and gave us an appointment for the next day which was today!  They only let one person in so I didn't see first hand, but my wife was in and out in 10 minutes with her passport stamped. All they asked was the reason to which my wife responded she needed to visit her mother who is old and sick in Dominican Republic. No more questions and stamped her passport.

Anyone considering and/or needing an Infopass appointment just do it. We didn't wait until 30 days prior to her GC expiring and they still gave us an appointment. (GC expires Oct 24th). Good luck.

    Update:

I called USCIS on Tuesday Sept 6 to request an InfoPass Appt. The nice lady took my information and told me we'd get a call within 30 days to schedule the appointment. Lo and behold they called me 2 days later (Thursday Sep 8th) and gave us and appointment for next day (today)at 7:40am.

My wife was in and out in 10 minutes with her passport stamped with an I-551. They extended it for 1 year.

Thank you "Old User" for your advice.

    Good morning VJ'ers.

    I just got my NOA.

I mailed mine on Dec 9th and received on Dec 15th.
Cash was checked on Friday Jan 22nd.
Got NOA through mail yesterday (1/25).
Being handled by Potomac Service Center.

So for any of you who sent your package around that date, keep your eyes open. NOA should be coming at any moment.

I should also mention, we filed late! My wife's Green Card expired on 10/25/20. But I sent a letter explaining the reasons (Covid, wife is pregnant, my job, etc...). The NOA says they extended my wife's Residency for 18 months and we just have to wait now. So all seems good as of now. (Fingers crossed)

Yay. We have our interview of Oct 25!

    However here is our situation:

We opted NOT to fill out I-693 until we were scheduled.
The problem that I am now facing is that my wife misplaced all her immunizations, so we have NO records of anything.
We will be visiting an approved USCIS Dr. for the examination.
Has anyone gone through this process of the medical examination without any records that can share their experience?
Will my wife have to do the whole list of immunizations?
What if we dont get everything done prior to the interview date?

Thank you in advance for any input.

We did indeed get the Combo Card.

Also, if you are tracking your USPS mail via Informed Delivery, when they mail you your EAD card they use Priority Mail. For us it did not show up as an incoming letter or mail. It showed up as an incoming "Package"(even though it wasnt, it was a regular letter). So it never showed up on my daily emails. I had to go to USPS website and in my account check under "Packages" and there it was.

Just letting you all know so that way when you have confirmation that your card has been mailed, if you dont see it for regular mail check under "Packages" also because thats where it was for us.

    Update:

So we got the EAD card today!!!

We have not seen it physically yet because we are not home but USPS Informed Delivery confirmed that a package from USCIS was delivered.

    So to clarify:
On 1/18/18 the website updated to "Card in Production"
On 1/22/18 we received an NOA in the mail saying that our EAD and I-131 were approved.
Then on 1/23/18 website updated to the EAD was mailed. I never got an update on USCIS website that we were "approved". But the NOA in the mail confirmed it.
Then we received the card today (1/27)

I do not know yet if it is a combo card but I will update once I see it physically.

Also in terms of the AP (I-131) the only update that we received on the website was that "Name was updated" It's still in that status as of now.

As for the AOS (I-485) that has not changed.  It is still dated as 11/14/17 as "Finger Print Fee Received"

    Great news!!

For those of you that have already received your card how long did it take from when you were notified until you actually received the card in the mail??

For those of you still waiting hang in there. We filed 11/3. So you all should be getting good news soon!!

Hello everyone!  And congrats to those that have received your combo cards and also those with interviews!!  Hopefully mine will be soon!

Just wanted to add myself to this thread.

You can see my timeline in my signature down below.

When I check online it shows all my Receipt Numbers (I-485, I-765, I-130 and I-131) as last updated on 11/14/17. But based on alot of the timelines on this thread, I should be getting something very soon. Keeping my fingers crossed!!!
