A little update...my hubby arrived yesterday (4/4) @ JFK New York..no questions were asked..to all who are waiting...soon you all will be reunited with your spouses in Jesus name..a very happy day for me💃💃..

Something is definitely not right. I’m surprised u guys r still waiting for interview dates. Please follow up with d congressman route and mayb also try sending in an expedite request again using another angle. 
 
my husband wrote to them that our rent in Nigeria was expiring end of nov and that he also wanted us to be in the US for thanksgiving wen he sent in our expedite request. We provided the tenancy agreement as proof. We were scheduled about a week later. We really don’t know if that’s wat worked for us because we never got any response of approval or denial of the request.

If your case at the nvc stage was pivot(electronic ), then you wouldn’t get a sealed packet. We didn’t get one cos we were pivot and we had no issues. 

Just had my interview today me and my son .. we were both approved 🙏 .. thank god 

I applied online with capital one. Had no issues.

If you enter after your 2 year wedding anniversary, then you should get the IR1 and NOT the CR1. If you get the IR1 then you will get the 10 year green card and will NOT have to do Removal of Conditions. Don't worry

I'm leaving the boat! My visa is approved. I stressed a lot for nothing. They did not ask me anything special. It lasted before 5 minutes.

@Oma, have just looked through your Priority date again and I'm tempted to establish that Priority date plays a very strong role in determining the interview date. I'm concluding it's considered first before the CC date. This appears as the major explanation for having a scheduled interview for a person with a later CC date as compared to the former. As a matter of fact, a person with an earlier Priority date had experienced a waiting period likewise,  hence, he or she deserves a speedy interview process (date.) I'm just thinking out loud, and giving myself another reason (apart from back log issues in embassy...) for this delay some of us are experiencing. Once again, congratulations!
