EAD Approved in 11/6 and mailed 11/7 thank goodness. Now just to resubmit the medical for the GC later today and hopefully this phase of the journey is completed! Thank God!

Hi everyone,
Just want to give a quick update. I got my green card on October 2018 and start applying job from that time. Today, I officially accepting a job offer and will start working on Monday. Finally, staying home and vacation time is over and it's time to work again!

Had AOS interview October 10 and got RFE for an updated I-693 medical examination by a certified USCIS civil surgeon. Our medical was only 7 months old so they are subjecting the new rule randomly already as we were July Filers so FYI!

woo hoo just got a text confirming receipt of package. The credit card was charged on the 17th and a text just ten minutes ago. Now we pray for no RFE and an expeditious return and completion to all my fellow AOS’ers here!

Just got our appointment letter!! October 10th so hopefully we can get the GC before the holidays! All in all it took about eight weeks to get here from AOS submission to appointment 🙂

Boston filer here : timeline. Packet delivered 12th july, acceptance text/mail 30th july, biometrics appointment 21st August. 22nd: ready to be scheduled for interview. 4th September: interview scheduled. Yay!!!

Keep in mind a GC is more important that an EAD because you CAN work and travel with GC. Plus it's for 2 years, not 1
So this is wonderful news for you

We just got an update!! we filed on July 12th and biometrics done on August 7th!
Surprised on the speed on this. I prefer speed on the EAD oh well 🙂👍

Took 6 Months and 1 week from NOA1 to NOA2 but that was philippines - Check my signature for more timelines as well
