Yes you will have to do medical and even with police report again with all supporting documents .
 
But it's only the  visa fees you will not pay since your case is reaffirmed .
At NVC it depends the load over there , but normally it takes four weeks to forwards your case to the consulate/ embassy for preparing your second interview.

You are absolutely welcome. I had said to myself prior to him even getting his visa that i was going to make sure i stay around for this very reason. Its such a hard process to deal with. Especially when you've been denied and i was so clueless as to what to expect that when i found this site, it really helped me to calm down a bit and understand i wasn't the only one going thru it. Not knowing is the worst thing. And even though we can't give definitive answers it gives you an idea of what you are looking at and that helps a lot.  Thanks for the words of blessings. Glad you joined in on this journey. Many of us here have received as well as given support to one another.
This journey has been one of the most difficult because it deals with your emotions and that has caused so much stress and depression, but through it all we who are traveling this journey or just starting or ending it, have found strength we never knew we had, so to all of us..... We will Make It.. 
A lot of us who have been approved and have finished with NVC are still here to assist and support those of you who need us...
