Ok sounds like a good plan! Hopefully it goes as smooth as yours. I'm just ready to be with my love again And get this going. The embassy is really fast in Fiji so I'm trying to get everything in order because it will move at lightning speed once they get our packet. Fingers crossed!

Hopefully your case will get to NVC in a few days, call them every few days and check.  Once it is given a case number, get your medical scheduled soon, the price goes up on October 1st at Saint Luke's

After 6 months of waiting my fiancé is finally with me. My fiancé is pregnant and was able to make it here safely last Friday. We got our visa and she arrived here right around 6 months from NO1. Good luck to all you guys!    =)  Thanks to all for all of the useful information from this site!

Well, guys, we've got not really good news today. 
Called NVC to figure out why we are still "at NVC" status. 
 
Our case is undergoing through administrative procedures. They are unable to give a time frame. And we have to wait until they'll notify us via email for further instructions once it is released. No further information can be obtained during this time. 
 
We will call again tomorrow and the day after tomorrow and so on and so far. This is the only thing we can do now for only God knows how long.
I'm not even upset or frustrated, I guess lost is the only word that is more appropriate. 
 

I have taken a break from VJ for a bit, but it's so nice to come back and see all the progress everyone is making!
 
I finally heard back from the embassy and they scheduled our interview for the end of this month. WOOHOO almost there.
 
Just a quick question... I know my fiancé hasn't submitted any packets or forms for the interview yet but he is doing so next week... is it odd that the embassy has already scheduled the interview prior to me paying the fee or doing any of the packets?I am happy that we have a set date but I just want to make sure it isn't suspicious

Woohoo our Case status changed to Ready this morning.  I will send packet 3 later this week probably Thursday to give them time to hopefully process things. WOOHOO!!!!

Just wanted to send a sign of life!

I'm totally worn out.. worst time - right before leaving.

My last day of work is Friday next week, I have to work full time until then, my replacement is here 5 hours a day, so I need to train her.
Then I'm still in dental treatment, have to clear my apartment mostly by myself.

I just brought my sold iMac to shipping, so I don't even have a computer anymore.

I have to say goodbye to so many people these days; beloved coworkers, friends, and next week my mommers.

Hopefully I'll get everything fixed, so I can leave for Hamburg on the 18th and fly out on the 22nd!

I'm mentally and physically worn out.... seriously underestimated clearing life in the last days! Good thing I started in March already, otherwise I'd die.

That's why I just wanted to say hi!
I hope everyone is fine, processing on!

I'll be back briefly and wish a great time for everyone of you!

Submitted my DS-160 woohoo.  Tomorrow at work I will print and scan the packet 3 checklist as well as scan my passport. WOOHOO This is getting so very real. I just can not wait to be with my fiance Chris. I miss him so much.

Finally Approved! 1 week shy of 6 months. Not sure if it was my service request ticket submitted last Friday or not that did the trick or the fact that I was almost at 6 months.

My fiancee got the documents today! So, no more worrying about them getting lost in the post!  Now, we just patiently wait.... can't believe in only a few days we'll find out our interview appointment and schedule the medical. This is so crazy, and I'm flippen nervous, but extremely excited at the same time. I guess it's normal to fear the unthinkable, but more than likely we should get approved. I hope? *overthinking sucks*

170 Days. Nothing in the mail. Went to visit him last week, but the short 4 day visit made me even more anxious. With April approvals now happening I am losing hope and tired of waiting 

Hey everyone.. have not been around much with work and planning and gathering all the stuff needed for interview and planning for the wedding.. etc. etc. and I am not even caught up on everyone's post, but wanted to give an update because I am super excited right now...
So, my F called the embassy this morning... which for us was just a few hours ago to find out how far out they are scheduling.. and as soon as they get the paper work from the NVC, he can schedule for whenever.. there is no wait time!! However, as of right now, the NVC still has the case =( so it could be another week or two before it even arrives at the embassy in his country I am gonna guess. Just so excited knowing that he will more than likely be here before his birthday on the 27th! =)
For any who are still waiting, I hope you get your NOA2's very soon so you can move forward in your journeys to be with your loved ones =)
Fingers crossed that everyone will be here before Christmas!!! Being with your loved one for the Christmas season is a gift in itself! And better late than never! AND if you think about it.. Christmas really is not that far away! AND then New Years is right around the corner after that!!!  AND AND OMG starting the new year with our loved ones!!!! I just can't wait!

We did our medical yesterday. Nothing horrible but quite time consuming.
My son managed to get his arm with the skin test wet, hopefully there's no need to have an X-ray done on Monday. 
 

T minus 1.5 days until my fiancee can take a breath, relax, and focus more time and attention on her upcoming change of life. She's finally finishing an intense English course that is specifically geared towards her expertise in finance on Sunday. She definitely wouldn't learn any of that watching cartoons with me. She was planning to take this week off to study for her exam, but her supervisor decided to be a jerk and take this 6 day work week off for vacation and dump everything in her lap. Needless to say, she's been a little stressed and frazzled. There's a package of all the documents she needs from my end on the way, so I can sit back, kick my feet up and play the support role for a bit. Well, that was the plan until my boss showed up today with a revised timeline for my project. Looks like 60 hour weeks for a couple weeks, and then I can kick my feet up or go swimming in all that sweet sweet overtime cash, at least until the government takes it away in AOS/EAD fees.

Did anyone book a medical prior to interview? Are the timeslots okay.. like does it workout with the interview dates.. I'm a little worried ill book an interview and not be able to get a medical in montreal a week before?

Precious golden letter showed in informed delivery today! Yaaaaay! 🙈
Can't wait till fiance will open it and send me photo.
But what's interesting is that I can see different date printed in the letter - 08/11 - while tracker and web-site say "approved on August 14th".
Any suggestions?
