How do you get bored in NYC? I'm just curious  You have public transportation to take you anywhere - maybe try and plan some day trips? I always see in the movies people from NYC going to Montauk lol. Maybe try MeetUp and see if you can find a Brazilian group in town?
 
If I were in NYC with nothing to do and it was too hot to go outside, I would plan a NYC themed movie/TV marathon and take notes of all the places I want go. Also, I would start a blog about matzo ball soup where I would eat it at every restaurant that offered it and then write a review 

If you file the Form G-1145 "E-Notification of Application" for each of your packets, you'll get three e-notifications on top of 3 NOA1s  and yes I would put the address because getting your NOA1 for AoS is a lot slower than it was for the K1. It could be a few days to weeks before you get it.

Congrats to all those getting the approvals 😊 I had my interview at the London embassy on Monday and was approved!!!!!! Yayyyy such a good feeling! 
My status online now says issued just wondering how long do you think it will be until it gets posted?

Wow you guys are so lucky with your embassy! In Brazil, there are like 3 dates per month and needless to say it runs out pretty quickly 

9 days until my fiance's interview. I'm not sure I can handle the anticipation. Haha

Interview booked for May 3rd!! In solidarity with @Nadia k  Who despite her visa journey silence has been my constant life line and support through this entire journey xxx

Interview scheduled in Brazil for May 8th, medical for April 19th. Passport should be ready in 2-3 weeks after interview, which means I'll be immigrating late May/ early June, that will be 10 months after we filled 
I hope everyone else's country is faster than mine!

I know the feeling! It's been almost a year since I've seen my fiance in person. My fiance was unable to get a tourist visa and I was unable to get time off from work. 😔 Good luck to you both!

Hello to all VJ family members.  As most of you know I am in the Philippines right now enjoying time with my better half.
 
Anyway......., Yesterday, or well I should say the 27th in the Philippines was my Fiancees birthday. This is the first time we have been able to be together for a birthday, so we wanted to really celebrate with a nice dinner and some wine. After getting ready and waiting for a Grab (Uber) if your not sure what grab is, my email notification went off on my phone. So looking for something to do I checked my email, and the email I received was from USCIS,  it said there was a case status change. I quickly grabbed my laptop, logged in, and WOW!!!! It said our case was Approved on the 26th!! Honestly I couldn't think of a more perfect way to get an approval notice! Almost like a storybook notice. We are together, it's her birthday, we were all dressed up and leaving to celebrate. Needless to say we now had two reasons, and of course we over celebrated, if that's such a thing. he he
 
Just wanted to let everyone know and thanks for all the support. I'm glad I could help in the past with scans and answering questions and will continue to help in the future.
