  1. It's been a LOOOOOOONG time since I've been in here. Just a BS follow up to what happened to my husband when we got his 10 yr card.... They listed him as a Female. So we sent it back, with a letter, and proof (yes, despite them interviewing him 2 x and all the pictures) that he is infact a male, per their request. The card I think was sent back in mid 2021 and there has been no updates. He was told he can only get 1 stamp in his passport, but he needs a new one as he needs to renew his DL. They said last month it would be fast tracked to a level 2 supervisor and now mid February...crickets. Needless to say, he is pissed and he really wants to leave the US. It's been one issue after another with USCIS, and it is always their mistake.

  2. I did K1 while I was living abroad. I maintained an address (my dad's) for the 8 years I was outside the US. That's where I had my CC and bank addresses listed. I think it was before the interview (The application didn't ask about any intent), I went back home and bought a cheap car, got car insurance and a few other things, so my fiance (now husband) had all the paperwork at the interview.

Hi all! Just wanted to let you know that someone has accidentally deleted all the data from the December 2020 sheet. I own the sheet and I tried to track down a different version (version history) to restore the file, but it looks like the version history has also been deleted? I ended up filing in February myself so I haven't been super actively monitoring the Google Doc. I just noticed this today when I saw a discussion about sheet data being deleted in the February 2021 group. If anyone has more experience in Google Docs and has other ideas on how to fix this, let me know I need to give you any additional controls as the sheet's "owner".

What a shitty thing for someone to do. So much work was put into that.

Looks like I was approved today?!

I filed in mid November 2020 with divorce waiver and missing divorce decree at the time.

Biometrics waived at the end of April.

Got RFE letter on September 17th, I replied the next business day with the divorce decree and it was received this past Wednesday.

Today the case was updated to new card is being produced.

    No interview?!

I hope the status update is legit!

If you were K1 9 times out of 10 there is no interview as there was already one done in the US at  adjustment of status

We just had our biometrics appointment two days ago! We filed in November and are also MSC. What do we expect next? An interview scheduled ? Or are they waving those because of COVID? Hope everyone is hanging in there. I’ll update the sheet when I get to a computer.

They are still doing interviews. Were you K1 or IR-1 or CR-1? K1 typically get waived, and they also seem to reuse the biometrics since both were done when we did Adjustment of Status after the wedding. Since IR-1 and CR-1 have yet to interview in the US, you should expect to do so now.

Okay I’m getting a little worried. People have been getting approvals lately and mine is still fingerprints waived status. Is anyone having the same issue? I live in California.

It can take over 1 year (sometimes 2 years) to get approvals. As much as it sucks seeing ppl post their great news, it is what it is. I personally am shocked to see approvals so soon, when they say it can be many many months.

I spoke to a friend who is knowledge about this and told me that in many centers now, due to decreasing COVID cases, they are returning to the routine process where the applicants are being called for fingerprinting even if they were waived earlier.

    Go figure!

I know a couple people that are knowledgeable with the process as well, but I would still call and confirm. If they don't have access to your case, I wouldn't take their word for anything. Many times contradictive things are sent, and only calling will give you the right answer.

I am just one that hates wasting my time and money most of all. So if it was me, I would be really pissed to show up and them tell me that my biometrics were waived.. But again, that's just me. My biometrics place is about an hour away....on a good day.

    Hello folks,

I have been closely following the I-751 spreadsheets to monitor activity at our service center, and in order to make it simpler to do so, I made a spreadsheet that compiles all the information from the existing spreadsheets for each month and organizes it by Service Center.  I thought others may appreciate having this information, so here's the link to the spreadsheet:

    https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/10bbIF3PDa36R8-yrFhHNDV1k32le-SPi1UzhewBFgiw/edit?usp=sharing

The entries are sorted by NOA1 received date, and the different service centers can be located by clicking on the tabs at the bottom of the sheet.

The sheets are not editable because the data is all imported from the other spreadsheets, so if you have data to add, it should be added to the original spreadsheets.  (March 2021 sheet found here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1liNArfs3TXRtN7EW9iQXDHeV2z6-ROZ-CQPjLC9HQl4/edit#gid=0)  Many thanks to the creators/moderators of those sheets, and all those who have contributed–they have been very helpful!

I don't see my entry on your spreadsheet. I am LIN, date filed 12/14 and line 74 on the December spreadsheet. Just wondering if I am looking at the wrong thing

Any updates from those whose case is with LIN?
I'm noticing some Jan & Feb 2021 filers receiving their biometrics waivers.

I am a December filer, and our group has no movement with LIN. Real BS to see them skip Nov and Dec and work on Jan and Feb. I seriously hate this process. One of my personal negatives is that I am overly patient, but I get really anxious when I see things not working in A,B,C,D but in A,Q,E,Y 🤦‍♀️

  10. Yikes, I know the Visa Journey estimated approval time frames are based off those that actually out info on the page, but yikes....I was hovering between December 2021 and February 2022, and just now I got an email of May 18, 2022. LIN has been pretty much doing nothing (based on October-February groups). Is there a way to turn off that notification? I really rather not ride that roller coaster for however long this is gonna take .

I am not a expert on this things but I am just assuming most legal immigrants they initially move to big cities, mainly located on the east or west coast. Texas service center handle cases in the south and mid west mostly, so I am assuming they receive less cases and maybe the majority are not CR1, so maybe that is the reason why it’s faster. Add the pandemic and the delays get even worst. It’s like if you go to get your Drivers license at a big city office, you are gonna be in line for a long tine, but if you travel to a nearby town it might take minutes because is not as busy. Is it fair? No, but it is how it is.

But they do shift work around to alleviate work loads, but they aren't doing this the last few months. Just one center is just tearing through piles of applications.   I don't mind the wait, but I hate seeing what looks like neglect.

You know it! I understand USCIS is still operating under a hiring freeze, curious to know why SRC seems to be moving at lightspeed compared to other centers.

It's REALLY pissing me off. It's really unfair that one service center has movement while all others are just sit there. I am fine waiting, even the 18+ months it can take, but to see so many get approvals out of just one place sucks big time for the rest of us

  13. I think its pretty much the same. But your state should have requirements listed on their website. My husband had to do this process (here in PA) and this is what he was told. There are obviously other things he needed to bring, but the I-797 is most definitely needed

"I-797 Receipts for Applications for change in status, employment authorization, or extensions in length of stay will be reviewed and in some cases may be used as proof of a pending action with USCIS, however, not all I-797 receipts are acceptable (such as those for copies of immigration documents, or petitions for relatives)."
