I find it very weird ive been checking the spread sheets from months before and from last year and it seems like they are very consistent, but lets wait more, nothing we can do about it.. sucks 😭

I am coming here to say that my interview was this morning at Rio de Janeiro embassy, and my visa was approved. Hopefully I will be going back home before thanksgiving.

Hallelujah and thank you Jesus! My husband just had his interview at the embassy in San Salvador, El Salvador and was approved!! I thought he'd be there much longer but his interview was at 8:30 and he called me at 8:50!!! He said he was interviewed by a lady and she was very nice but asked a lot of questions (not sure of the questions yet but when he gets home he will tell me) and she said everything was approved!!! 
 
I cried tears of joy! I'm so over the moon! I can't believe that after so long this is over. I'm beyond grateful and feel so blessed. All of our prayers paid off and God heard us. God bless each and every one of you that helped along the way and for all your prayers and well wishes! Good luck to all of you awaiting your interviews!!!! YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As long as the police certificate was issued within 12 months of your interview, you are okay. It does not matter that the Nigerian police certificate says that it is valid for 3 months.

I just came to tell you that after 4 months and 16 days I finally have my interview scheduled. I just would like to thank you all for the support during all that time, that was a long stressful ride.

thanks everyone!  after a stressful month of no phone calls...hubs got 3 good offers....and is now working at a job he loves!

i got my driver license from canada. same thing, out of country i had to do a written test. i didnt study. i showed up and it was a two hour wait (yay DMV) so then i proceeded to read the questions on the test while i was waiting in the DMV. i passed the written and i literally had my permit or whatever it was and drove for a year and then on the last day possible i did my driving test and passed lol
you can drive on the provisinal license.  and you can do the driving test the VERY next day!!! 
you do NOT need a driving course.
basically, show up and do the written test. you have 5x to pass that day and then go back the next day
 
after being in LA so long, i have learned that the best time to go to the DMV is 430pm, right before they close:)

Hello everyone! I had my interview yesterday at the US Consulate in Bucharest and was approved!  I checked CEAC today and the status said ISSUED so I should be receiving my passport with the visa in a day or so! I cannot tell you how relieved I am. Good luck to you, VJ fam! You all have been a great support system!

I'm fully aware of that question must have been asked before and I apologies for asking it again but here is my situation so far.
 
I have received my EAD last week and yesterday was my AOS interview, everything went well ( gotta review the local office though I didn't do it yet )  after happiness we now have to face another challenge , finding a job.
 
 
okay so here is what my problem is , I have an accountant degree from France , I'm not having a lot of experience just a few internships , i worked in a restaurant too but that's another story.
 
what are my chances (surely close to 0 ) to be hired as an accountant here in the US , considering my experience is low , my degree is from abroad , accountancy is different from a country to another ,and we live in a rural area. 
 
Any suggestions of Job as a start ? Any of you had a similar experience? I read some topics on here before writing this one and some people had issues with this as well , is it gonna be the same for accountants ?

1.  Sometimes, the immigrant receives a sheet of paper in addition to the sealed packet.  This sheet has the A number on it.
2.  The A number is the registration number printed on the visa.

Hehehe. No date yet. It seems that the brazilian embassy is the busiest in the world. But our congressman already checked my case, and he said it's all fine, just waiting in the line. I hope we get one date soon too.

We got married on first visit after 2 years of dating online, We didn't have any other red flag but i was questioned about this on my interview. I told the truth that we didn't want to be in relationship out of marriage for a long time (we are both Muslims) and how we were so sure even after we met in person. We met each other 2 more times after our marriage and we frontloaded our petition too, maybe that helped to overcome the red flag. 
I am under administrative processing now because of my nationality.

In red, for me the best advise received here in the thread, please, know you each other, see if you have chemistry (not a cliche) Chemical process occur in the brain when you see a person who you loves (releasing endorphins and other wellness hormones etc.) See how thngs are between you in privacy,  besides,the other advises are really helpful too...
The way, whatever you take, need evidences the CR1 and the K1 and go the first time and get married would rise a Red Flag of the size of all Europe! Try to visit her, know you, as @missileman says , take pictures of both of you, with she's family when you know them because for both ways CR1 and K1 (specially for K1) evidence is fundamental! And Ghana is listed as a high fraud countries!
Read the forums about both ways and make your choice.

Same! It's been 4 days since we didn't call the nvc (excluding the weekend), that's an achievement! 😆
