yes but you lived there for more than 12 months past the age of 16 , so you will need to get one from your home country and another from the country you are currently living in.

according to NVC site you must provide a police certificate for each country you have ever lived in.

so from what I read you will need to get one from both countries, if I am reading it right.

point or not, this forum is to answer questions, not to judge someone who they don't know the history of. We all, or most of us, do not go into a relationship on a pre-judgment bias, if that were the case with everyone no one would be married. 
 
thousands of couples get married after dating and their real part of the partner comes out, you then realize you made a mistake or you attempt to make it work and it just doesn't.  if something starts to go bad there are support groups places to turn for help.

it will all depends on what they need, will have to wait to see if it is something you can gather easy, and get it submitted, some are done right away while others might take another month or 2 for approval.
 
if you sent it from overseas it might take time, if it was mailed within the USA not as much

I called today they still have not gotten it...sooo waiting a little longer lol

I think the Hellbraska makes a decision on whos case gets sent to DOS when after approval, mine took over 2 weeks to finally be updated with "sent to department of state" actually 2 weeks and 1 day.
 
some people get their approvals and right away sent to DOS others get the approval letters in the mail, and wait a week to get updated as sent to DOS...I did find out even though the letter states sent to DOS it only goes once the system is updated with that phrase.

you really need to rethink the whole telling people intent is determined at the border by patrol, people can lie very well, and not all border patrol is going to catch onto it....so it is still immigration fraud if the intent to come into the USA on a visitor was to get married and do AOS. Intent will be looked at as the process goes on..
 
They will either get a pass, or they will not...people have done it and people have gotten passed it, people have done it and gotten caught and are now in a lifetime ban.
 
They need to be realistic and not attempt to skate past it simply because they can't bare to be a part.....immigration fraud is not something to take lightly.

Yeah NVC and DOS are the same

see your time is here, just keep an eye on the USCIS status page, once it says sent to DOS, you can start calling them I would say 2 weeks, to see if they have a case # for you

now that she has a GC you can go in to have a new card send to her that doesn't say this.

as long as you are still a valid GC holder even with a pending I-751 you can still travel.

I know how you feel, I was there, when people through may were getting approvals at the start of Jan and mine was just sitting there.
 
This process to bring our loved ones home is stressful and ruthless I feel.
 
but soon I promise soon it will be over.

hang in there it took me almost 8.5 months to get my approval and then another 2 weeks and 1 day for it to be finally sent to DOS...

I provided that to...didnt work out so well for me as I got the approval letter with no email, no text and the web site for uscis and my case # still hasnt updated. But you should be able to send direct messages to DOS email and get a reaponse very fast. 

you should expect a RFE that is one things that is required to be sent in with the petition

there is a check list at the bottom of I-130 instructions, of things that needed to be included 

nope no RFE it took about 8.5 but I was in Nebraska also. I got approved 1/17 still waiting for Nebraska to send my information to NVC.
