If you can't make that - do you have your original marriage certificate? Worst case scenario bring that and if they need to keep just give it to them and get yourself a duplicate afterwards.

I finally received an email late yesterday night saying my card is being produced! I’m relieved I can finally work and travel. I got my biometrics done on feb 20ish so it has been a long wait. Is it a little greedy to say I hoped for the interview date instead? But oh well that’ll come in time with patience as well!

Thanks I did, it wasn’t needed. The appointment itself was pretty straightforward: picture and fingerprints that was it.  just gotta wait it out from here on I guess

just got notified that they cashed the Cheque today  submitted on feb 17 and they received it on the 19. @Martella&T and just keepin you  in the loop and @HappyBunny I’m in nyc too! But was on the k1 visa

I sent in my package for AOS, along with EAD, and AP in February 17. Most said they heard back in a week and today’s marks a full week and a day since it’s been sent. Could this possibly be bad news or are we being patient haha  thanks! And good luck to everyone else!!

Updates: I had my POE on December 1st  and we got married January 1st as planned! I'll attempt to add a picture. We got married in NYC Botanical Garden- it was adorable. I applied for my ssn about 2 weeks ago so I should get it around this week. It was the most pain free thing I've done in this whole process hahaha
AOS!! I have a bunch of questions to all those who've applied. I've poked and researched around and 
1. What is the biometrics everyone keeps talking about 
2. Is it cheaper if we mail the I- 485, I-864, I-765, I-131 altogether? If so by how much?
3.  the whole medical thing has me confused, the X-ray cd and vaccines and such 
4. @pajobra you mentioned something about  DS -.... I've forgotten what you said and what it's needed for but I panicked as well 😂 If you don't mind please remind me what it is

Biometrics are more fingerprints etc for our green cards.
If you put the I-765 and I-131 in with your AOS package it costs nothing extra. So all that plus your AOS I-485 and I864 is $1225 that includes your biometrics fees. Biometrics are usually done a few weeks after you get your AOS NOA1.
Honestly I would not worry about medical until the interview for AOS if you have one they can ask for that stuff at it as far as I know including the DS-3025(I think that was it) vaccination sheet you should have got a copy from the doctor but they are supposed to have received your medical from K-1 so sometimes that stuff is not needed unless it never made it to them which happens. We all know RFE's happen for silly stuff we KNOW we put in the package. lol

Yay for all the POEs. I am lying in the hotel bed in Rapid City, SD. My fiancé is snoring away. My kitty is snoring away on the chair. Me well it’s my normal wake up time 6am except it’s 5am here. 
 
My POE at the International Peace Garden Port was very uneventful. It took them just over an hour to process my K-1. Mainly because they had never done one. They called head office a few times. They asked what I was bringing and I said household goods and a cat. They had us park in the garage but they never looked at my cat or my goods. The officer we had was super nice. He kept apologizing. I joked that in 3 years when they had another K-1 he would have it down. He laughed and said ha USCIS will change the procedure probably. I paid the 6 bucks for my I-94 and it was stapled into my passport and passport stamped with our 90 day mark. Then while we waited for my sister and her husband to use the washroom he was asking me how I met Chris. Then looked at the car and said how the hell did you manage to pack your life into one carload. I said by playing Tetris. He roared with laughter. Told us to have a nice day and waved as we drove out. I was soooo nervous about POE but it was great. Seeing Chris in the hotel lobby was unbelievable. We went out for dinner at a nice restaurant nearby. My fiancé was meeting my brother in law for the first time yesterday and they got along very well. He was telling Chris all the issues he might have with me LOL because my sister and I are alike. So much laughter at dinner. My heart is happy. After breakfast in a couple hours we will head to Walmart or something and pick up sandwiches and drinks and road trip treats and head on the road for our 7 hour trip home. We will take a photo for you all today. Happiness is so wonderful. 

Well my fiance just told me he is meeting a lady from colorado springs buy and sell page to buy a keurig from her. The exact model I wanted. He sent me the picture and its in great condition. The lady said its not even a year old and she is selling it because her husband got her something different so she no longer needs it. Woohoo. I feels all special now! I love coffee but I am only a couple cups a day kinda person so a whole coffee pot is wasted on me. I do have one of the single drip things you put over a cup but now that keurig pods are becoming recyclable I do not feel so bad about having one.  Plus I can get some Tim Horton's pods. Wooohooo!!!! I do love me some Tim Hortons.

OMG I was just thinking about you and was going to send you a message asking how things were going. So glad you posted.
 
What does your CEAC status say? Often its only a week after they receive it and if all in order they issue your visa. I assume they kept your Passport meaning you were approved if you sent in your Police Report.

Hoping for some insight from anyone.
I did my interview on October 11 in Montreal, but unfortunately forgot a document which I have since sent on the 16th if not the 17. Just wondering when will I hear back from the embassy? I know I should wait another week before reaching out to them but anyone got a clue about a situation like this?

I am APPROVED @twoDs and @Marzena & Stephen  it was 8:30 I was #14. Talked with @Ariel&Mahum who was #17. 

I interview in Montreal tomorrow as well. They will likely just give you the form asking you to supply it ASAP. And likely issue the visa once they get it. 
 
I just checked my binder for the thousandth time making sure I had everything.
