Wait for it to hit atleast in transit when checking the ceac tracking, just in case it get stuck in ap at nvc. Then do you ds-160. After it says ready for your case, email the vn consulate and ask for your packet 3 letter. Print that out( you may need it later) after that you have to go to ustraveldocs, make and account. You can then fill that account info with your ds-160 number and HCM case number. After that, you got to print out a page to pay visa fees. In 1-2 days, you can schedule your interview. Hey All,

I have been approved!!! Found the NOA2 approval letter in the mailbox today It was approved on December 11th.

Online status did not update still shows received, oddly enough it did not show up in my informed delivery email notifications also.

@Trinab80 Check your mailbox if you haven't yet.
@Naes You were right it would just show up one day without updates.

You can do the ds-160 whenever you want now. It should be valid for a year once submitted. We waited until NVC sent it to the consulate just to be sure though. Thats what most people will recommend. You only need the WAC number to complete it not the case number the NVC gives. Although i keep reading people say that

If you go under more in viber. Then settings. Then calls and messages. You can then email it to you and print it. Thats what i did

No problems with the medical. The doctor that did the vaccination said if it doesnt come in time, then we can get it when we are in the states.

It was 2,160,000. Thats excluding one vaccination that is still out of stock at the one recommended by the consulate.

Just asked my fiance and the last one is 620,000. So total for us was 2,780,000. She didnt have any vaccination records before this and she is 22, hope that helps.

I think every country has a different process. What country Is the beneficiary from? I can post up a link where you can post your question and people from your country will probably have a better idea for you

Theres really no secret sequence you have to do. Just listen to the menu and pick the one that says you already filed and have a question about a petition. And you have to ask key questions for them to transfer you. I asked these 3 questions everytime because i knew they couldnt answer it and they transferred me 3 times without any problems
1. Has my case been assigned to an officer?
2. Has there been a name check on it yet?
3. Has the background check been done on it yet?

after you ask those, they will respond with "i cannot see that information" then just say you want to speak to a level 2 to get those questions answered. Hope that helps, good luck

Yup always hope the best for the great people here. Glad its trending up last couple of weeks. Even picking up the pace it must be going slow still i guess. I would have expected alot of the may 11-18 members to have their NOA2 already, since they atleast started on those dates about 3 weeks ago

Hey i was approved 10-17 and finally got my case number last night. So hopefully yours should be soon.
