Hi everyone!! For those who undergone Medical Exam at St. Lukes, I would like to know if urinalysis is still part of the exam. I just want to prepare in case I have my period during the medical exam schedule.
Yes, urinalysis is still part of the medical. 🙂

Do you know if scars on your wrists are prohibitive?
They might refer you to a psychologist if they see one.

Any one in this know what questions are asked during medical's?
Here in the PH we’ve had blood test, urinalysis, vital and physical test and also were asked series of questions (dentures, animal bites, mostly pyschological questions) and was checked if we got scars on our wrists.

Hello, everyone! Congrats to all of those who got approved the past few days I was gone! I’m happy to those who got their case numbers as well! And for the rest of my dear MAYers who are still waiting, hang in there! There’s always a rainbow after the rain. I know that waiting and patience are hard but it took us so long (took me a quarter of a century) to finally find someone whom we’ll spend the rest of our lives with, five or six months of waiting is nothing compared to it. I am praying for all of you! Remember that waiting for the NOA2 is one of the hardest stage of this journey. I am sure you’ll be able to overcome it and come out as a winner with your other half! May we all have a blessed week ahead full of approvals! ❤️

Hi everyone!!
So I got my NVC case number today.
May 5 NOA1
Oct 6 NOA2
Oct 17 received at NVC
Oct 18 got case number
So I went online to track my case and I have a couple questions.
When I clicked on "nonimmigrant" and entered my info it said case number not found. So I tried clicking "immigrant" and it found my case.
It says "AT NVC" and it says I have to wait for instructions from NVC that list the 6 steps I need to take before NVC can schedule the interview appointment and the instructions also will tell me about fees and forms that need to be submitted to NVC.
This does not sound right. I thought NVC simply did a background check and sent your file to the embassy.
Is this just the generic message that is given to everyone????
Thanks in advance for the help guys!
Congratulations on getting your case number! You're almost there. AT NVC status means that your papers are still sitting on their desk for further review/verification. Don't worry, it won't take that long for it to change into In Transit to Ready. This is a generic response that they say on the tracker so don't even worry.
If you could tell us what country the beneficiary is from that would be great maybe we'll be able to help you a bit more specific
Good luck on the rest of your journey!

Philippines. After we get the nvc# can we schedule her medical? Does she need to pay the interview fee first?
Yes she can do the medical now.
You can pay the interview fee whenever :).

What do i need to schedule my medical? Thank you
It depends on what country the beneficiary is from.

What exactly am I doing here? I never saw it mentioned elsewhere!
On the day of the interview, they will require this from the beneficiary. It has a special barcode so make sure it's printed out.

How many days nvc takes to dispatch case to respective consulate after asinging case number?
Depends. Mine was 8 working days. Others got 10 days. Some have waited for a month.

Wooo!! Got our approval/NOA2 today! Just checked the website. Haven't gotten anything in the mail yet! Our NOA1 was May 2, 2017. So, uh, now what? Lol. What's this DS-160 people have been talking about? Hopefully they'll lay some of it out in the letter.
Congrats! Do your DS-160 here: https://ceac.state.gov/GenNIV/Default.aspx

Yes! I finally got my NOA2 in the mail yesterday! Dated 10/10/17 so the RFE didn't back me up too badly!
Tracker never updated though!
Yay! Congrats! ❤️
Tracker shows my case is still received either 😁

We use the app both for the iOS and the Android one. Also on the USCIS website

They wanted additional evidence to meet the requirement that we had met once over the last two years. Kind of funny since we have spent 8 months together in person since August 2016. I thought what I sent originally was sufficient so I sent them every single thing I could think of.
My timeline twin, will pray that you'll receive your approval soon!
Edit: Or the case number soon! 😬

Hey Steven,
I'm planning to call this week for our MNL number - curious, did you guys make the deposit and if so, were you provided a valid receipt number used to schedule your appointment? @smilei, if you could also chime in on how you were able to schedule it so fast, that would be great!
Hello! Sorry for getting back few hours late. Hehe. What @LabOzsaid were true.
NOA1 and 2 are upon USCIS' discretion. After NOA2, the phase depends on the beneficiary. We got our case number 8 working days after the NOA2. I booked my ticket to Manila and flew here even it was still At NVC status and paid the visa fee too. Once you finished the medical and your receipt from the bank got validated, you'll be able to schedule your interview. @Alma Dela Vega has a screenshot of the available interview schedule (USEM). So I encourage your fiancé to do the same. Pay now. Once you have the case number, go to SLEC and get the medical done.

Welcome back and thanks for the update. Sounds like major progress. Once in a life time experience.
Good luck in advanced with your interviews.
Will you do CFO next or already done?
Steven
Oh, was about to edit my post to include it! Hehe. Alma and I will do our CFO seminar on the 25th and once we receive back our passports from the embassy, we'll just go back to get it stamped. We booked this around September. hehe.
