    APPROVED!!!

My fiancé had his interview today at the embassy in London. The entire process took less than 40 minutes. They asked for all the documents of the list, congratulated us on our engagement and then asked 1.) How we met, 2.) How many times he's been to the US, 3.) Asked if he met any friends or family while visiting, 4.) Asked if he had brought his dog over to the US (since that's how we met - long story), and then he said congrats again as your visa has been approved. My fiancé said he floated out of the embassy.

I want to say thank you to everyone on this forum for sharing your knowledge and your journeys. We found this forum only after our lawyer dropped the ball and forced us to play a lot of catch up. Through the sharing of your knowledge and personal experiences we were able to pick up the pieces and take our visa process from NOA2 all the way to approval. We've learned so much from you all.

Now we wait for the visa to be processed!!!

To those still waiting, this is the places to get answers. Keep asking. Keep sharing. I love the power of knowledge created here.

I'm sending all the positive vibes to each and everyone of you.

Now I just have 41 days to wait until I'm in London and 49 days until we fly back to the states together with POE at Chicago O'Hare.  In the final home stretch now

From this website: https://www.***removed***/visas/ds-160-form/present-work-education-training-information.html I seemed to have done everything right. I think from what I've read since posting my first message, it depends on your circumstances to what questions you get asked. I put in my job and my role and my salary each month. Then it never asked for my previous jobs. I've been working there since i was 17 anyway. 😊 there was never a place to put my qualifications. I guess I can only fill in what is asked. 😕🤞🏼🙏

I don't know if it's a glitch that has to do with the browser you are using, or maybe it has to do with being currently unemployed, as it's my case, but I did get to fill in the sections about past jobs and education.

Thank you. I always worry about something! Haha
That's good. I'm glad. I just feel like I don't want to fall at any hurdles now. And I always worry about everything and it's annoying haha.

As Janet mentioned, blue ink is the "standard" signature ink color. My boss is a former attorney and she always signs everything in blue. You're fine

Okay...going to show my age a bit....
I signed everything I have submitted in blue....the idea is....blue ink wasn't available on printers or copiers  (I know....long time ago ) A long time ago, to prove it was an original, everyone signed everything in blue. They won't care.
    Every thing is good.
    Wishing you the best.

    Hi February filers.
I just wanted to let you know that I had my medical yesterday at Knightsbridge medical in London and everything went well. They are so nice! I have also booked my interview for three weeks time. Good luck to all waiting still. I am feeling slightly nervous now. ☺😄

Hi. Just me the worrier. I have recieved my i134 forms and evidence from my fiance and cosponsor in the mail, however my co sponsor has signed the form in blue ink. Typed in black and dated in black but just signed in blue. Will this be a huge problem? I heard London aren't too fussy with this. And I've heard it's not necessary to actually sign it anyway? I don't think i have time to get another one either. I hate to be picky and stuff but I'm just worried this tiny thing will be a problem. I'm hoping it's not going to be. Has anyone who went to London to get interviewed any any problems regarding this?

I don't think they're going to look too closely at the color of the ink in London.  From what my fiance said at the first window they just ask for and skim the documents to make sure everything is there that's needed to pass along.  I'm sure they're not going to make a fuss over the ink color of the signature on one page.

I haven't said much in this forum but I have been a part of it. I send you positive energy! <3 It's been so hard for many of us, almost at the brink of even losing ourselves and our fiancee because of the pressure. And it is quite a challenge when you are dealing with so much more than just this Visa. I find myself taking care of our 4 month old baby and he is far away from me. I am raising my child without his father because of this Visa. And this forum has kept my hope up and has made me more patient. And I AM SO happy I get to find some peace of mind in this forum. Outside of this forum, I am alone. THANK YOU and EVERYONE HERE that has shared so much with everyone!

I think we have all got enough reality in this process and truly don't need anymore....especially in this community. I don't need ANYONE telling me reality of American government when I lived here my whole life and deal with them. Its very obvious they don't care. However....I do feel this forum and this particular posting area was made for us to help each other, not put each other down...no matter of factly stuff and hiding behind truth to prove some point. If your personality isn't even enough for showing human compassion and comfort...then be what you are...informational only and pass on trying to help anyone in any emotional aspect. Just stick to what your geared for...no excuses needed. Thanks. There are others here who are quite good at it and we don't need anyone giving us truths or realities...cause truly....we LIVE it. Just help where you can and leave the rest to the others. We all serve different purposes. Lets not make anything any worse for someone just because it isn't our strong suit. I have enough negative feelings without someone making it worse. That being said..everyone carry on with their role in a positive aspect.

Wow... there are quite a few snarky remarks these past couple of days. I have been busy so I haven't kept up as much. So... here's my snarky comment in addition to all the snark... because my level of don't-give-a-**** is off the chart these days....

This has been an incredibly calm, respectful, supportive, encouraging community. We vent, we share joy, we share sorrow, we share non-visa-related cool stories. I have REALLY appreciated all the comments. We're all cheering for one another and it's awesome. We all filled together and share a similar path.

@j N j You are not a February filer (by your timeline) but we welcome comments from all. However, I have a HUGE issue with someone coming into our forum and being disrespectful and negative toward my fellow February filers. So if you cannot be compassionate and understanding like the rest of us, I would ask that you please find another forum to troll. We got this... we got each other. We don't need your comments to the contrary. If you decide to continue following this forum, then please do so with respect.

I am sure others share my sentiment when I say that we wish you the best.

    End of snarky-snark. Peace.

I don't think @Lovemycroatianman is wrong to expect empathy in this topic.  We have had a good group of filers in this topic which we've tried to make our space and a safe space to come and talk about all the ups and downs in this process.  There is absolutely nothing wrong in coming here and complaining about this process, sometimes we all need to blow off some steam about the frustrations in this ordeal with others who understand.  And, if it bothers others to read such responses, then they don't have to read them and they don't have to comment on them.

@Greenbaum is a great source of information but can also come across as blunt sometimes, at least from my perspective.  I don't know if that is their intention, their personality, their writing style, or just my perspective, but I've read some comments where I've felt that way.  I also don't think it's a fair comparison between waiting for the LPR 10 GC and still waiting for your K1.  For those of us who are still going through the K1 process, we are still waiting to be with our fiance/es while, if you are going through AOS or ROC, you are more than likely with your spouse, living with your spouse, regularly seeing your spouse, and not having to deal with the stress of missing your partner.  Greenbaum said "So I waited a few months longer as not having it was not interfering with anything we were doing" which was great for them but is not the case for those who are going through K1 and waiting to be with their partner.  Being together makes a difference and trying to plan your life and being together while going through K1 does interfere with everything.

I feel empathy for what @Lovemycroatianman is going through, if I was in her position, I would be feeling the same way and wanting others to talk to/vent to about my feelings.  She has done everything she can to try to figure out what is going on with her case and keeps getting responses of "we'll notify you in 30/45/60 days" from people who are essentially in charge of her future and her life with her partner.  Of course no future is ever guaranteed and many of our futures are controlled by others, even when we don't see it, but going through this process is a slap in the face of that reality.  I encourage her to share her feelings, frustrations, etc. to not only release those emotions a bit but to also help others realize that they are not alone and, for those who read these topics before ever starting this process like I did, to understand the realities of what might happen and what you might go through in order to be together with a K1.

No problem about worrying, we all do that

You do not need to show a copy of your fiance's birth certificate, you just need to provide a copy of yours.  The I-134 doesn't require this or ask for this.  They didn't ask my fiance for one because they already had it in the original submission.
