You don't need to include any photographs of weddings at this point. You did that for k1. There's nothing in any of the forms that say you have to include things to show real relationship. That's for the interview. I know people who did not include anything like that and they got approved. Marriage certificate is sufficient at this point until interview

Nah no mail. Its just wait and see. It will take 4-7 months for EAD and AP probably. I got my approval at 140 days last week for my EAD.

Basically just wait and see. Mine has been Ready to schedule since February.  Every field office has different wait times for the AOS interview. Some are fast fast and some are slow slow. My office in Denver is slow slow so I do not expect an interview until next February. If I get one earlier I will be one happy camper. LOL

I never submitted evidence in my package. Hardly front-loaded it at all. Never did with the I-129F either. From my understanding they would want to see that at the interview. Now I know why my package was 50 pages to all your 300 pages. To each their own. LOL

I had my biometrics on May 4, and I haven't received any mail from USCIS regarding updates.

I haven't seen anyone on this thread mention mail updates for their EAD/AP.

The only mail update you'll get at this point will be either an RFE or once your interview actually gets scheduled. Don't think EAD/AP status gets updated until it actually gets approved which is roughly 5-6 months right now per reports on other threads. Seems like a lot of the recent reports show people getting their GC before their EAD/AP approval unless you have a reason to expedite your EAD.

Hey people. I had my biometrics last week on Tuesday and today my case now says ready to he scheduled for interview. What does this mean? It's only the i485 that's says this. The other 2 case numbers are biometrics recieved and case recieved. Did anyone get any mail from this to confirm it?

Thought I would let you know about the updates via the old USCIS tracker and the new one. Both updated for me when my EAD was approved. lol Just food for thought.

Also it is a sad but a good thing day. My 96 year old Grandpa passed away early early this morning just after midnight central time. I was the first one my brother called because I am an hour before and he wanted his big sisters advice on how to tell everyone else in the family. I am happy Grandpa is not suffering anymore but sad because he was such a wonderful man who did so much in his life. He was a tail gunner in World War II and worked for Hudson Bay during the fur trade era. He will be missed especially his jokes. We are known for our cheesy jokes and that comes from my Grandpa's side. lol

It's no worries, just some more paperwork and $240. Not sure my wife likes all of the injections and blood being drawn though

She needed to complete the vaccinations, as when we did the medical overseas she did not complete all of the required ones. Technically they could have given her the missing vaccines only and not the full medical, but nobody (i.e. greedy doctors) likes to do that as it decreases the fee they can charge.

I wanted to have it all done in Cambodia but they said a couple she was missing needed to be spread out over months and we were visa approved so decided to come and finish it here in USA.

Of course, I even asked the doctors office in Cambodia if she could come in many months before our NOA2 to avoid this kind of thing but they were too stupid to agree to take my money.

    >So that means no rfe will be sent for?
USCIS can always send RFE, I think. I may be unlikely, but not a promise. I was also feeling like we'd get one... Hopefully things will go without RFE.
So I guess now we just have to wait. I know someone who filed in December, also in Denver, and just had their interview last week. (I actually never asked how it went, since their case was a bit... questionable.) Hopefully mine (and everyone else's!) comes in the summer.

We are on a similar timeline.

Sent everything on 4/4, biometrics on 5/4, status changed to "fingerprint review was completed" on 5/7, and today (5/9) I-485 changed to "Case is Ready to Be Scheduled for An Interview"!!!

I-130, I-131 and I-765 still haven't changed though. I was expecting I-131 and I-765 to be accepted first, before I-485 is ready for an interview, but I guess I-485 will be in this status for a loooong time anyway.

it's probably not exactly the same for every state, but here in PA, I went yesterday and did the knowledge test, they asked for my passport, SSN card, the NOA1 AOS letter and two proofs of address, so I guess as soon as you have those things.

I gave them the paper that came with the SSN which has my address and name, and a letter from a bank saying thanks for opening a (joint) account. you can just take one proof though, if your spouse comes with their own proof of address (ie their driver's license) confirming that you do live together.

they did say I would have to come back later though, because they needed to check with DHS that my papers were in fact legit. I wasn't in the database they had immediate access to so they're gonna take a little while to enquire (I'm guessing that's pretty normal for K1 AOSers). they'll tell me in the mail when they're done with that and I can go back, pay, and get my learner's permit then.

the test itself is 80% mindblowingly obvious questions, 5% trick questions, and 15% things you really wouldn't care about (like penalties for minors) but have to memorize anyway in case they ask. all in all very easy.

hope that helps, good luck with that!

Does anyone know when you're eligible to get a State ID and driving licence? I can't drive yet and want to take the test and stuff here. Do you have to wait until work authorisation or can you do it earlier?
