Hey there Jkelsey, so how did your fiancee's interview go? I think my fiancee was just right after yours the same day. Well I see you are waiting on the visa to be delivered and same here so I'm thinking it should be sometime today or tomorrow so I'm so ready to book that flight to get her here this September 17th. She has to go back to Manila to take her CFO class so at least she can get her certificate and CFO sticker all at once right before her flight the following weekend . Anyway hope we get good news on the visa delivery!! 

Well everyone yep it's time to book that flight to Fabulous Las Vegas on September 17th for my fiancee and so nice she got her visa delivered this afternoon in the Philippines and only 6 days after her Embassy interview. I have to say other that long drawn out wait from USCIS to approve out petition the process went relatively fast almost 2 months from the date we were approved from June 11th to August 2nd  she received her visa. Now to schedule her CFO class AGAIN and then the flight home so to all you you have given me great advice and my new pals @Greenbaum and @BluesDancer and many more of you out there. Thank you and Maraming Salamat for all your valuable insights and help to get this journey of ours across the finish line. So to you my November filers keep the faith and stay strong and just keep being patient!! God bless all here at Visa journey and let's keep on helping others cross that finish line to bridge those couples together.   

Well Greenbaum, Hanks visa connection was pretty awesome and pretty straight forward and easy to  understand. As you know I used a visa service there in Dumaguete, Philippines to process the petition and DS160 application. There were many people  in here that gave questions that were being asked at the interview. So of course your wealth of information was very helpful my friend so hope that answers your survey. Did they refuse to let her in? Coz that extra hour before the scheduled time is only to make time for filling up a form which can be done in about 15 minutes. And to answer your question, here's the exact words from the CFO GCP website "Slot is forfeited if you don’t show up on set date of appointment. Reservation must be done again online."😊

She is required to take the GCP class and not the PDOS. Register again and complete the class.  There is a new location in Davao that she can register for if she is closer to it.

Woohoo! My fiancé just finished up the DS-160 and was able to book his interview today, as the embassy has received the electronic file of our case! Looks like the medical will be August 8th, and the interview will be in London on August 22nd! Can't believe we're finally so close to being done...for now, haha.

My fiance also receives a monthly, non taxable disability benefit from the VA. Regardless of it being non taxable, it is still considered income. Because it is not reported on his taxes, we have printed off a summary of benefits statement from the VA staying his monthly disability benefit and have used that as supporting documentation for our I134. Your fiancé can print the same off of the following website:

Although I have not had my interview yet (I do Wednesday), I cannot imagine running into any problems. His VA benefit is income and as long as it meets the poverty level, I am sure it is fine. What more can they say but thank him for his service, right?

Okaaaaayyyy! I'm going to teach you how to search VJ😉
1) Scroll to the very top of this page.
2) You will see the Visa Journey logo at the top with a blue bar (aka blue ribbon) above it. It will have "K-1 Fiance" in a darker blue arrow pointing left at the left top and a darker blue box on the right with "Menu" in it. You can check out the menu later but for now you are going to look for the search icon in the blue bar/blue ribbon. It looks like a spy glass at the top of this page.
3) Click on the spy glass. You will be directed to type whatever you want into the box. 
4) Right now you are going to type in "Germany portal" or "Germany subforum" and then press go. You can use this search box to look up anything you could imagine though, full sentences even, just like Google. 
5) You will be brought to a number of search results that best answer your query. One of the first ones will be your portal/subforum no doubt. 
 

@GreenbaumYou've been quiet lately so hope you are well my friend. I mentioned you yesterday to say maraming salamat for all your help and so she was approved as  it was a quickie interview for my fiancee and nothing even about our relationship or affidavit of support but we already knew that but the standard how did you meet and you know the rest. wow that was fast Bluesdancer. My fiancee  will be there in Dumaguete on Wednedsay so hope she will get her Visa in time before she arrives back there in Dauin. Bluesdancer, seriously, I know what u feel as reality is setting in and same for me as well so just enjoy the moments with her in life. Now look, I know she's beautiful and all but please keep your eye on the road on the way home okay? Hahahaha. By the way where in Dumaguete is she from? Maria my fiancee is in Dauin a dive resort town so they are only 30 minutes from each other. Love Dumaguete as it's my favorite place to visit and of course Lee Super Plaza and Robinson place Mall.
