I'm Checking my bank account every hour to be honest with you. I did call USCIS 2 days ago and the customer care rep said that I have to wait 15 to 30 days before they can get to my file. The application package was delivered on June 26th, so today is the 15th day. Still no update on it. I also see every filer here has received the NOA within 2-3 days of application delivery so I don't get it why it would take so long to just receive the application
I have the same expiry date. I sent mine July 3rd. Got the text yesterday saying they received it and the payment from my credit card went through. Might be worth following up. The likelihood is that they will reject it and send it back to you.

Which receipt number are you using?
It is EAC19..........

You can also pay with a credit card

I received a text yesterday with my receipt number. When I check the status online is says that the number is not validated. Any ideas what's happening?

Hey guys, I filed today. I was just curious, are the uscis interviewing everybody for i751 now?
I know previously the interview was a more rare occurance. We were interviewed for i130+ i485 a couple years ago.
-
Congrats! I had my interview recently and got approved, I had my GC exactly 1 week later.
-
When I submitted one it was over the phone with a tier 2 and it arrived on time

Ask to speak to tier 2 on the phone. They'll be able to assist you.

K1's aren't in a category affected by the change.
"Effective Oct. 1, USCIS will begin to phase-in interviews for the following:
• Adjustment of status applications based on employment (Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status).
• Refugee/asylee relative petitions (Form I-730, Refugee/Asylee Relative Petition) for beneficiaries who are in the United States and are petitioning to join a principal asylee/refugee applicant."As mentioned there has already been a very recent interview by a CO at the foreign consulate for K1's - which is in line with an immigrant visa interview and not a non-immigrant visa interview as far as the scope and requirements. That is still the case, and will allow K1's (so far) to still be considered for interview waivers as previously.
Congrats on your approval OP!
Oh sweet. The articles I previously read were vague and didn't mention the k1. Good to know!

K1 doesn't always have an interview. You're lucky since that's changing soon

Congrats on your recent GC approval
You can walk into your nearest Social Security Administration Office with your passport, I-94, GC and a pen to fill the application there. Once you finish the process at the office(takes about 10 minutes) you will receive your SS card in mail within 2 weeks... all the best
Sweet. Thank you! Can you get the number instantly or is it a definite wait?
-
How do I apply for this with a green card? Also is this instant or is it another waiting game?
thank you all! I appreciate the help.

I have my interview yesterday and all they were interested in was the validity of our marriage

So yesterday I had my interview, the officer couldn't approve us on the spot because of an issue with my medical but she said she was going to look into.
However, about 20 minutes later I got the case status updates: the i485 went to card in production and i130 went to interview complete my case must be reviewed.
Does this mean I am approved or is there still a chance of rfe?
thanks

Congrats! Out of curiosity - how long from filing to now?
We moved and had to reschedule but it has been 11 months.

Had my interview today! It went really well. The officer was so friendly and said she was going to approve us, however there was an issue with my medical so we may get an rfe. However by the time we got on the subway I got lots of texts and emails saying "card in production"!!!!!!!
My wife and I are so happy. Thank you to all who helped.

You would've got arrested regardless of your gender or nationality. You assaulted somebody. You broke the law.

I got to the US a year and a half ago with a k1 visa. I got married and i got my 2 years conditional green card. Recently, i got in a fight with my wife and i pushed her and she got bruises , she called the police and i got arrested and charged with assault 4 domestic violence, even though my wife said that i am not criminal and that i made a mistake and that she blocked me in the house ect...i still went to jail. I am now out of jail and i don't understand what is going on and if i still can stay here and remove condition. I am afraid i will be deported or i will not get my 10 years green card. Did anybody go through this or know to answer me with what i should do now. I am not a criminal , i have never been even pulled over by cops, it is my first time in a situation like this. I feel like what happened to me is not fair. I am now facing deportation and not being here legally for a small mistake.
I feel like it's unfair on your wife to abuse her...

I had my medical within the US so it might be slightly different. However I only provided my vaccination record

Just tell them the truth and it won't be a problem

They might not spy on you but there'll see a stark change in body language when the question comes up...

Waiting time on bio
in Removing Conditions on Residency General Discussion
Posted
Hey guys. My case was received on 10th July, it's at the Vermont office. What's the estimated date they send out bio appointments?
