Not entirely sure on the medical portion, they could request one I suppose but since it is valid at the point of the interview, shouldn't be an issue honestly.
As for interpreting for her, they will most likely have someone there who can do it for her. I mean, otherwise you could change the answer of whatever she said so, kind of be inappropriate you know.

    All,

My fiancé attended her interview on April 25. She said that the interview went well. She was given a 221g (green slip) for her to submit police records for Nicaragua and Panama. We sent the documents in. The embassy received the documents on May 18th. The department of state website posted on May 18th that they had received her application and for her to check back in two days. On May 22, the department of state website posted the following:

Your visa case is currently undergoing necessary administrative processing. This processing can take several weeks. Please follow any instructions provided by the Consular Officer at the time of your interview. If further information is needed, you will be contacted. If your visa application is approved, it will be processed and mailed/available within two business days.
For more information, please visit TRAVEL.STATE.GOV.   What does this mean? Administrative processing can be scary from what I understand...     Thank you all!

    Everyone goes through AP.
It can last couple days, couple weeks or months. No one knows. It's normal. Don't worry and wait.

.... Seriously we need a BIG sticky thread that says AP IS NORMAL. Because this questions pops few times a day.

Each interview is unique to each individual case. Go in fully prepared with all needed documentation (I-134 and supporting documents, proof of ongoing relationship, any other country specific documents). Just be relaxed, answer as honestly, clearly and positively as possible. A lot of times the evidence seen by the CO before the interview has already made them make a decision whether to approve or not; but they can be swayed or change their minds with a positive feeling from the beneficiary during the interview too.

If you are outside the NOA2 validity period, the embassy can extend it. It won't be an issue. The embassy should be aware of that but if you are worried that they aren't, get in touch with them, point the obvious out to them and politely request them to extend the validity

    Woohoo! Felicidades!

Your fiancé needs passport photos. I recommend getting 12 or more some for now and some for the Adjustment of Status (Green Card) process if you plan to do that right away. They ask for quite a few of those photos during the medical exam.

If he/she doesn't have the birth certificate yet, go get that. I had my husband get 3 copies (but that's in case you need them one day. Better to have too many than not enough).

Take note that medical Exam docs and police certificate docs have 6 month expiry. So if you're fiancé is going to hop on the plan after getting the visa in hand, get that done. Getting these kind of things involve standing in long lines.

You will need the number that the NVC will assign to your visa application. With that number you will be able to complete the DS-160. THEN you can pay the visa fee. THEN when the payment goes through (like 12 hours or so if you do it via paypal) you are able to schedule the visa interview. BUT you can't do any of that without the NVC assigned number. I got mine about 10 calendar days or so after my app was also approved.

Good luck. Send me a message if you have any other questions or concerns!

    Greetings everyone,

Last Friday, 7/14/17, I received my NOA-2 (hardcopy), stating that my petition was approved... so excited!!!

My question is, what now? I know the documents will be sent to  the NVC/Embassy where my fiancé resides. What do I need to do as the petitioner, and what should my fiancé do as the beneficiary? Also, how long those this next process take? I was shockingly surprised how quickly the I-129F was reviewed and approved... exactly 4 months!

    Thank you all,
