It may take between a month and 2 months to actually get the letter with your interview date then you wait another 3 weeks to a month. Patience is key.

Guys,
It is my pleasure to report that yesterday my wife and our two daughters had our interview.
This is how it went down.
The interview was for 9.30am. We got there at 9am. We waited for about 30 mins before we were called in by a middle aged woman. She took us into her office and was gracious enough to offer my kids coloring books to keep them busy while she attended to us. We swore an oath to tell the truth and then she began by confirming our personal details as stated on the i-485 forms.
Then she asked me how we met. I asked her if she meant how we met the first time or the second time (I was remarrying my ex-wife) and she said all of it so i gave her a brief summary of how we met the first time and how we got back together the second time. She then asked my wife if she ever married someone else while we were divorced and she said no.
Then she proceeded to ask the 50 or so 'yes or no' questions from the i-485 forms. My wife answered no to everything and was then told to sign at the bottom of the form. I was also told to sign the same thing for my kids. She asked my kids how they felt about school and what was their favorite thing to do at school.
She then asked us if we had any questions for her and we said 'hell no'...well actually we just said no...lol. Then she told us that she would need to review the files to make sure everything was in order and told us what would happen if we got approved and how the cards will be produced and sent to the address we noted in the form. The interview took about 30 mins.
We left and I dropped my wife and kids at home and while I was halfway to work, I received 3 emails stating that our case has been approved. By the time I was seated at my job, another email came in stating that my second daughter's card was being produced. I was impressed!!!
I want to wish everyone who is still waiting for an interview Good luck and Godspeed. We were not nervous at all because we knew our case was very easy given that we remarried each other and our kids were ours.
Hang in there guys!!!!

So I was right. Three of the letters were invitations for interview on August 6th for my wife and kids. the 4th is a letter saying they need additional evidence to make a decision on my first daughter's expedited EAD.
But here is the weird part, this morning I get notifications that my first daughter's EAD is being produced and would be mailed to me!!!!! How does one explain that? I spent last night gathering evidence to fax over to them...now it seems its no longer necessary...lol

So yesterday I checked the dhs webpage and saw that my 2nd daughter's EAD had been approved and was in production. No word on my first daughter's.
This morning I checked my informed delivery and I see that I am expecting four (4) letters from NBC. By expanding it on my phone, I could make out that three (3) had the receipt numbers for my wife and daughters' AOS so I am hopeful it is their letters for interview. The 4th letter bears my first daughter's name so I am thinking it is a response to the expedite request I made which I didn't get an initial response to.
I cant wait to get home from work and check.

Guys, I got great news. I listened to all the talk of expediting the EAD here and decided to try it for my wife. We expedited hers on the 1st of June because she got a job and was to resume training on the 12th. They requested for evidence and I submitted it on the 8th. Then on the 12th, I checked online and saw that my request was assigned to an officer for response. Then the next day, I checked again and they had sent a response to my request for expedite. I figured they must have rejected it because the response was so fast. However yesterday afternoon I checked online and it says 'new card is in production'. We are so excited and happy.
I also expedited my 2 kids' EADs on the 5th of June because they were in danger of having their dental insurance terminated. Their medical is already terminated. I also sent evidence of this to them. I am hoping for the same outcome.

Guess what Guys....two wonderful things happened to me today. I accepted a job offer with a salary $7,000 greater than what I make now AND ten minutes ago, I received 6 emails and texts from USCIS notifying me of their acceptance of my package. It appears my call this morning triggered a response. I am so happy and overjoyed. The waiting is over!!!!
