For me my case has been ready to be scheduled for an interview since March 21, and it just changed last week to interview has been scheduled (July 3) my field office is in San Diego where it takes up to 11 months waiting for the interview schedule.

I just checked my case status on my 485 and it updated to case is ready to be scheduled for interview. How long did you all wait for until you got a letter in the mail with your interview date? Thanks! Also did any of you get the EAD without any case updates, we’ve been waiting on that as well. Thanks!

Usps only shows what is expected that day to be received. The card is on its way, just not coming in the mail today.

Hey guys. Need some advice. I want to respond back to this RFE but since I recently switched from part time to full time my tax documents will not show that I earned the minimum requirements however the letter from my employer and the 6 months worth of paystubs I have obtained will. Do you think these in addition to some bank statements and other docs will be sufficient or should I be safe and get a cosponsor to avoid any confusion like the first time. 😒🤔🤔🤔

I never left my job I just switched from part time to full time but because they visibly did not calculate it they sent me an RFE. I don’t think they verify anything with your employer per say verbally. 

Okay so quick update. I received an RFE based on my affidavit of support. Initially when I submitted my packet I was working full time but I had previously moved over from part time last year so the document does not reflect my actual yearly salary. I had included paystubs so they can actually see that I make well over the requirements and surely enough they did not acknowledge those to verify I was well above the 125% level. I am resubmitting those documents along with a letter from my employer stating I’m full time, my salary, W2, 2017 tax return and I am also going to write them a note so I don’t confuse them. Any other things you guys think I should include? 😕

Hey guys! Quick update! I’ve heard back after filing AOS with a NOA1 on Feb 22nd! I just got informed delivery that we have a letter from uscis and I checked our case status to find out that we got an RFE 😒😒😒😡 now I have to wait till I get home and find out what it could be! Hoping that it is something small that we can get sent back out today! Hope you all hear something back ASAP too! 

See the thing is I only got one text notification and that was for the 485. My friend had a similar case but she said she never received anything regarding the EAD, and her husbands green card was processed in under six months so I'm not sure because now I'm confused. When my husband called they said they don't see a record of the EAD and I should resend it but I'm like ??? If you guys got the AOS, you definitely got the EAD as I sent them in the same packet. 😡

Okay a very odd occurance for me... I sent in all of our paperwork and got an NOA1 for the 485, but no NOA1 for the EAD I submitted. Has this happened to anyone else? When my husband called, he was advised to resubmit the EAD but we have already submitted it and I feel like they need to just actually look. Getting irritated already 😭

Okay so I'm a little confused here. I finally got home and checked my mail and it was one envelope but all it had was the case notice for the 485. I also filed the EAD at the same time so was hoping to get that notice at the same time. Are they seperate case numbers? ☹️

Did these come in the same envelope or differently? I only see one envelope on my informed delivery from uscis and I'm at work now so I can't check the mail! 😭

Hi friends. I have a quick question. Was wondering if anyone else was in the same boat? My husband had gotten his provisional license while his I-94 was still valid but now that it is expired how will we be able to go about his license? I called the DMV and they mentioned using the notice of receipt in Lieu of the I-94 however it appears that only allows you to have the license for so long? I'm confused. Any thoughts? 🤔

Howdy friends! Sent out my husbands adjustment on Thursday. Hoping to get an NOA1 sooner rather than later 😭 I've been overthinking all the stuff we put in our application but I guess that won't matter now. Hoping for no rfe's! Let's get this ball rolling!

Ive been laying low but just wanted to give a quick update. First and foremost, to everyone still waiting you all have been in my thoughts and I know you will be hearing back any second now, just keep strong and also in prayer🙂. Secondly, my fiancé had his medical exam last week and will be having his interview in a couple weeks. Hope everyone's process has been moving along and I'm here to help anyway I can. To be honest they're pretty worthless unless your processing time is out of serious reach. I would honestly just recommend starting to get a little patient as if you call everyday and obsess about it, it will make things worse. I completely understand how hard this whole process is so I can't say I don't. Just find things to take your mind off of it. If others are hearing back around your case that's a great sign. You will hear back very soon! Maybe even today 😃

Thanks girlfriend! But seriously no need to be jelly. Everything will work out in perfect time. In the mean time, start preparing all the neccesary documents you'll need for the interview as well as evidence of ongoing relationship. Practice interview questions with your fiancé and address any other concerns that you may have. Once you got your NOA2 (which should be any day now) you'll look back and think it all went so fast. It speeds up so much more after NOA2. Actually rather quickly 🤔Now I'm struggling to keep up 😅

Yes! You've got it! What I'm going to do is send an entire copy of the i129f Packet couple with any new evidence supporting an ongoing relationship 😃 Which clearly there would be new evidence since it's Been months now!

You can track your case on the ceac site! Once it shows ready then you can proceed from there but you need to adhere to your specific Embassy instructions. I have to schedule my interview and medical by myself, versus the Embassy. Check for their requirements and wait till it's ready and go from there. In the mean time start collecting the documents you'll need for your interview. I.e. Affidavit of support and supporting docs for ongoing relationship!

My case is finally showing ready at our embassy and medicals are up next. Hoping to do the interview in the next few weeks. Keep hope! Everything moves much much much faster after the NOA2.
