HA I am often a procrastinator myself as is my fiance but for this we have both been pretty much not. Which seems crazy lol but I figured my fiance didn't have the 134 things together and he said last night that he is just waiting for his letter from the bank and he has everything and can send it all to me. He is waiting though until we show ready at the embassy. It is usually only a week to get a snail mail from Colorado Springs to my little village in Manitoba. Last night he said oh gee so you might be here by the end of October and I said with all things going right it is a big possibility. Then he laughed looked towards the dining area and said to me so um we should go on wayfair and look at tables again. A couple months ago he accidentally broke his kitchen table, I still think it was on purpose but it was ugly, and so we need a new one. So we looked through and picked one we liked that had good reviews and he ordered it. Feels so nice to pick out furniture together. Once I get there we are going to go shopping for a new couch as right now he has a futon in the living room and the damn thing tips forward when you try to get out of it. It is awful. I said to him if we are having people over that is not going to work like it did when you were a bachelor. LOL He said I need so much help hun so glad I have you now.  One of his good friends and his wife invited us over for dinner when I was there in June and I got along fabulously with them. It helped that his wife was only 2 years older than I so we had a lot in common.  I am hoping this turns into a great couple friendship. Johnny asked Chris if I liked to play board games and Chris said to him she loves them. So they want to invite us over for game nights. I said well we will have to invite them over as well. Him and I already have a good collection of 2+ player games.

Guess how maaaaaany times I bugged him to death for getting his stuff ready.

Guess what, when we will fly over to Utah to stay at his parents and take the road trip to Vegas... GUESS who will bring the CHRISTMAS gift for his sister, that is sitting on the top shelf of his closet since Dec, because he "will mail it soon".... lol
At least it will cause laughter once I show up with that lol 

Luckily in our case, we were introduced to each other by a mutual friend. I spent a long time on the phone with her this evening discussing the details. We don't believe all hope is lost quite yet. It really felt good to just unload everything and get some feedback from someone that knows and understands both of us very well.

Oh my god my fiance just messaged me and we were approved! I was super nervous for the interview for some reason, so I spent like an hour just curled around my phone. It went super quick for him, he said literally maybe 20 minutes maximum between each spot. And no questions about my joint sponsor (was super worried) or really anything about us. Just glances through the paperwork and approved!
 
 

Got a call from the Montreal Consulate this morning. The "glitch" with my fiance's fingerprints was fixed over the weekend and she doesn't have to go back in and they will process the visa and send it out soon. Back on track!

I have a question re: co-sponsorship. Has anyone done that or planning to do? Are you preparing a letter explaining the reasons why the co-sponsor is willing to co-sponsor?

HELLO MARCH FILERS MY RECEIVED DATE IS MARCH 17.
I WAS GETTING DEPERATE WATCHING APRIL FILERS GETTING APPROVED, AND MY NOA2 TAKING FOR EVER.
THIS AFTERNOON WHEN I ARRIVED HOME FROM SCHOOL ( I AM TEACHER), MY FIANCE MESSAGED ME AND TOLD ME THAT HE HAS THE APPROVAL LETTER, I AM SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO HAPPY I HOPE EVERYBODY HERE WAITING GET THEIR LETTER SOON.
NOW WAIT FOR NVC CENTER

Called NVC today and FINALLY got our case number after a "whopping" 20 day wait! I thought the long wait for NOA2 would've made me more patient....turns out that if anything it's made me even more anxious! lol I can really do without all the "not knowing". I think we're all looking forward to that moment when we're finally with our fiancés and can just look back at this year with a smile. Almost there guys and gals! 

Dear March Whiners, I'm so happy to say that our case is at NVC! And we've just got our case number! 
Very nice woman replied after 15 minutes of waiting. My fiancé told her she made our day, and she said that she is happy for us and it was her pleasure and wished us luck! 
This is such a great end of this day and another two weeks of waiting line! 
Just two happy campers!

OMGEEEE I just got an email from uscis it was a post decision activity and it says WE GOT APPROVED!!! 😄😄😄😄😄😄🎉🎊🎊🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 God is sooooo good! Finally! Exactly 151 days of waiting. ❤️🎉🎉

Hi everyone! I just want to share my interview experience in US EMBASSY MANILA yesterday, August 23,2017, 6:40AM.. especially to those who are going to have their interviews in Manila. :)) 
I arrived in US Embassy at 5AM. The guard let us in around 5:40.. You have to show them your APPOINTMENT LETTER, DS160 and passport.. 
we waited for 10-15 Minutes before they let us move to Data entry.. At the DATA entry, they gave us ziplock where we will place the passport.. They also took our ds160.. they will put a sticker on it then they will give you instructions where ypu should go..  They gave us back the DS160..
Next is FULL BODY SCANNER 
And then another FULL BODY SCANNER before you can proceed to the main building where you will have your prescreening, biomedical and FINAL INTERVIEW. 
 
PRESCREENING - Window 52
I was already inside, I was the first in the Letter C lane.. The windows were still closed.. The assistant told us to prepare the documents already BIRTH CERTIFICATE, NBI CLEARANCE, CENOMAR, MRV SLIP AND MEDICAL RECORD(BROWN ENVELOPE).. 
the windows already opened and I went to the first available windows already. I greeted her good morning. She was a Filipino consul.. I gave her my DS160..
Questions:
What is your name? Birthday? What is your relationship to the petitioner? Where did you meet? How? When did the romantic relationship start? If both of us have children? How old are you? How old is he? Have you ever been to other countries? Have you ever been to Mindanao? I said YES. She asked where? Then she gave me back my ds160 and told me to proceed to window 43 for finger scanning
 
FINGER SCANNING Window 43. American Consul. He was the one with a very bad temper and he yells at applicants who cannot follow instructions. 😂 But I still greeted him a very good morning and a wide smile anyway😊I silently talked to myself that I better do well here or else I'll piss him off. I kept wiping my hands with my handkerchief.. 
he only asked me 
what is your name? Birthday SUDDENLY, He was giving me a tissue paper. I thought he was giving it to me to wipe my hands because I was wiping my hands in my handkerchief 😂 I wiped my hands using the tissue paper but he said NO. The finger scanner, wipe it off😂😂😂😂 Omg. *face palm*
Then he told me to place my fingers on the scanner. He kept telling me PRESS HARD. I said to myself. What? Hard?😏 So I did. I pressed it hard. But he kept telling me to PRESS HARDER🤣 So I placed my other hand so I can press it waaaay harder just like what he wants😂 So it's good. Then the other hands and two thumbs. :)) All good. He put a stamp on my DS160. then gave it back to me, said proceed to the interview. 
 
FINAL INTERVIEW- WINDOW 66. A very nice American woman. :)) Always smiling and we laughed together. She just seems like a friend to me. It doesn't feel like an I thought it felt like just a conversation between two friends😂 I greeted her HI, MAAM! Good morning! :)) She smiled at me and greeted me good morning too and asked how I am doing. I said I'm great and I asked her back ☺️
 
I gave her again my ds160. She took it and told me to wait 
When she came back she started to ask me
What is your name? How long you've been together? What do you like about your fiancé? When was the last time he visited you? What did you do when he was here? I said we went to Baguio city, had our engagement photoshoot and then he proposed again for the 2nd time. She laughed 😂 What? Is first time not enough? I said I guess not ma'am, he wanted to propose with ring. Then I showed her my left hand where my ring is. Her smile was really wide already. Do you have wedding plans? I said yes and then she asked me what plans? Where are you going? I said Chicago Illinois  What can you say about Chicago? I just said what I remembered 😂😂 I said, there's a lake in there, Michigan Lake, Sears tower and GIANT BEAN!😂 she laughed again when she heard the giant bean😂 She said, OH YEAH, that's what I like about Chicago, too, I call it giant bean too😂. -- Now I'm regretting I forgot about the DEEP DISH PIZZA🤣  
Then just checked my papers again.. Then she said I SEE NO PROBLEM, looks good.. You are approved. Then she gave me two pamphlet explained it to me.. I couldn't focus anymore, I started to cry.. then she repeated what she told me she said CONGRATULATIONS! YOU ARE APPROVED! WAIT FOR YOUR VISA IN 6-10 working days.. Have a nice day! 😍 I thanked her so much ☺️
 
 
SHE didn't take any of my fiancé's documents. Not even the form i-134 and the supporting documents! Just my documents. She didn't even asked for our pictures. :)) 
 
THANK YOU, LORD! Finally! I'm done! 
Ticket already booked last August 4 😂 Big risk but my fiancé had so much faith 😊 Good thing I made it! I'll finally be with him in 9 weeks. Yes 😂 I wanted to take my time and spend more time with my family first. :)) 
 
Tips for everyone: ALWAYS WEAR A BIG SMILE AND GREET EVERYONE IN THERE. :)) It will always be a great help to lighten up their moods. 😊

Oh my gosh. Everytime someone says theyre still waiting for NOA2, I tell them so am I and then days later they come back here to say they've been approved. I'm happy for the couples, of course. ❤️ But I also can't help but wonder, "Okay, when will it be my turn? Surely my petition has been approved when we've all petition in the same month and got RFEs the same time?" it really sucks because you can show so much proof and still take forever to get approved. I've been with my fiance for 5 years since we became friends in college. That still wasn't enough proof for them to approve me within 2-4 weeks. It's been
 
NEVERMIND I CHECKED MY USCIS CASE TRACKER TO CHECK HOW MANY DAYS ITS BEEN AND IT SAYS WEVE BEEN APPROVED!!!!!!!!! OH MY GOD???? I HAD NO IDEA THE CASE TRACKER WORKS TO NOTIFY YOU AFTER RFE. DONT MOST PEOPLE JUST GET MAIL? MY HEART IS BEATING SO FAST I CANT BELIEVE IT. I THINK CALLING TIER 2 EVERY WEEK HAS PAID OFF. THE LAST OFFICER I SPOKE TO WAS REALLY NICE AND TOLD ME HE SYMPATHIZES. WE WERE ON THE PHONE FOR 20 MINUTES CAUSE HE WAS TRYING TO REASSURE ME IT'D BE OK.
 
IM JUST SO HAPPY I CAN FINALLY MOVE ON WITH MY PETITION AAAAAHHHHH!!!!!

My fiancee had her interview at the embassy in Manila and was approved as of 8/24/2017!

Today has been 2 weeks since NOA2 notice date. Tomorrow I will call NVC and see if they have our case. My money worries are a thing of the past. My Mum just told me last night that because things are moving along for me and that I need all the money I can get to stop paying her rent. I was paying her 500 bucks a month. So now I will just pay her 100 a month for gas money since we just charge at our little gas station here in our village and he sends a bill to mum every month. This makes me so happy. I will be able to pay my credit card down to nothing and save up enough money to pay for my medical, interview and plane ticket to Montreal by the end of September.  Mum said she will pay for my airbnb in Montreal regardless if she goes or not which is a huge saver. I still could do it likely but this will help me have more money for when I move down to the States. Life is good. I am getting super excited to finally be with my fiance hopefully by the end of October. His 50th Birthday is the 19th of October and I know I will not make it but we can celebrate when I do get there. Lots of things to celebrate. I got my police clearance certificate in the mail yesterday.  Also got my drivers license renewal and looked at it and thought oh hell I might as well keep the enhanced license for one more year. I do not pay too much since I have 11 merits on my license so that helps. Mum said darn its too bad your license expires the end of September and you have to pay it one more year. LOL So taking all my stuff to work today to make colour copies of them all. It is amazing how freeing you feel after you get NOA2. You are still waiting but the waiting seems so much less.

We had so many "adventures" right before the interview, and now I'm extremely excited, relieved, and bursting into crying and laughing in turns

Time to go to sleep! :)) I wish I'll be able to wake up early😂 my appointment tomorrow is 6:40AM but i have to wake up at 2:30AM to prepare.

@troika i was soo curious to check the status of my case since we have 1 day difference after getting the case number from NVC.

I was very excited this morning to see letters from both USCIS and my congressperson, whom I contacted three weeks ago (and heard back from initially two weeks ago). Both were confirming that our I-129F has been APPROVED as of 8/16!! It took longer than we originally hoped but we are both so happy for the good news. Everyone else who is waiting for an NOA2, stay strong! I recommend contacting a rep as well, it can't hurt.
