    Congrats on your NOA2!

    This is what we did:
    - 2 weeks after the approval date my fiance called NVC and he was lucky enough to get the case number immediately, most people have to wait longer and/or call several times. Here's the instruction that I found here on VJ:

    Phone number: 603-334-0700.
If it goes straight to voice recording, it means that the lines are busy.  Hang up right away.
If it rings once and then goes to a voice recording, it means they will take your call.  You will hear a voice recording with a woman.  As soon as she starts talking, press 1.
You will be directed to a voice recording with a man.  As soon as he starts talking, press 7.
You will be put on hold.
When an employee answers, they will ask you for your case number.  Tell them that you don't have a case number yet, but you have your USCIS receipt number.  This was my standard line: "My fiancé and I applied for a k-1 visa.  We received our I-797 (Notice of Action 2) from the California Service Center on June 28, 2017.  W are calling to see if the California Service Center has forwarded our case."
The employee will enter your case number into their system.  If the case has not been forwarded, they will tell you to call back again in a few days.
If the case has been forwarded, they will ask you for your full name and date of birth and your fiancé's full name and date of birth.  Then they will give you your case number (important) and your invoice number (which they said was important but we never used).
    2) After you have your case number, you can check your case status here:
    https://ceac.state.gov/ceacstattracker/status.aspx

    - when you track the number, it will be "At NVC", then "In Transit", then "Ready". Ukrainian cases are processed electronically, so it won't take long for the case to reach the embassy - several days, not weeks
    - once you have the number, you can scedule the medical - in fact, they didn't even ask me for the number when I did it! So, you can try now if you want to speed things up
    - there's no need to call the embassy, they will call your beneficiary to ask for his email address once they get the case, and send all the info electronically
    - you fill in and submit DS-160 through traveldocs website http://www.ustraveldocs.com/ua/ and register for the passport delivery when you create an account there. I think it must be signed electronically by the beneficiary, so if you do it instead of him, you should save it, and then he can access it from his computer and sign - but I'm not 100% sure how strict this requirement is (I filled it in myself)
    - the beneficiary pays through bank Aval and waits for about 5 hours for the payment to be processed (I had to wait longer)
    - you schedule the interview online (or you can call them)
(well, I haven't completed the next steps yet but as far as I know...)
    - the beneficiary attends the medical
    - he attends the interview (or both of you do)
    - a happy dance after being approved
    - get the passport delivered either to the delivery service office or to his place, you choose it when registering

    Good luck!

    Hi everyone!
We received the green cards last week, just 2 days shy of 6 months since applying. Hard to believe that this time last year I was excited about getting NOA2 and looking forward to the interview, and now the whole quest is over, and the new baby is due in three weeks Quite a productive year
Our thread has become really quiet, but It's been fun to be a part of it. Thanks everyone for your support! Wishing smooth and speedy approvals to those who are still waiting!

My interview was similar, only multiplied by 3 because I have two K-2 kids. We were approved the next day but only found out in a week, the status changed from "My interview was scheduled" to "My card was picked up by USPS", nothing about being approved or the card being produced, must have been something wrong with their website. So, if you don't have any updates today, it doesn't necessarily mean you are not approved. Good luck!

    Hey everyone!

It's been awhile since I updated, so here it goes...

After having a horrific initial interview on May 16th (we were separated, told our marriage wasn't bona fide, read letters my mother sent them claiming all sorts of fraud...), we received two NOIDs- one for my I-130 and one for his I-485. Both were written the 22nd, postmarked the 7th, and received the 11th (we didn't get his till the 14th). We had 30 days from the WRITTEN date to respond, meaning we had less than a week to respond to my husband's since his due date fell on a Sunday.  Luckily, I already had most of the evidence scrapped together that proved our bona-fide marriage (their primary issue was they didn't see enough co-mingling finances so I sent in 6 months checking AND savings bank statements, joint credit cards, joint renewed lease, joint utilities, joint vet bills, joint vacations, joint renters insurance, etc etc). However, what I was not expecting, was to be told that we both committed fraud, misrepresentation, forgery, and perjury! My mother denied she ever signed an Affidavit of Support, but thanks to some screenshots, I had some evidence that said otherwise...

Anyway, we mailed our responses back. My I-130, Petition for an Alien Relative, went to our local field office in Omaha, and his AOS application went to California... Both were received two days before the deadline. I just got a letter last night saying my I-130 has been approved!!! I'm hoping that means his AOS will also be approved, since their primary issue was the belief we committed fraud... So. Yeah

There's the update! I successfully fought off one NOID with no attorney help (we haven't had an attorney at all throughout this process...) and just waiting to hear back on the other NOID.

Yay my background check went through now that my SSN is corrected. The company I interviewed with called me today to formally offer me a position with their company. I start 3 months of training July 30th.  Its an inbound call centre job. My husband works there and loves it.  I start at 15.75 per hour.

Yay congrats.  I hope we get to see a picture of the baby when he or she comes.

Well I went to SSA today after my dentist appointment to get two fillings and got it all straightened out. He had me wait until he looked for me and found me. Apparently the first guy thought my EAD was a GC and so they could not verify me in the system. SIGH Anyway this guy got it all done gave me a receipt and the company asked me to go to SSA to see if I could fix it and send back verification that I did. So I sent that off to them and they said great we will get this back to the background check agency and then talk to your recruiter. Soooo *crosses fingers* I hope after all that, that they give me a job. LOL

    Hi, Olechka!!!!
Great news! Happy you've made it till baby boy delivery!!!!
I remembered this summer months period last year when Marchies started to receive our NOA2 and our thread was so noisy  Emotions were overwhelming, though I received mine in mid August.  And now - we are family people! Can't believe in what way we passed!

As for my latest achievements - I've got my driving license permit and state ID! Now scheduling driving test to receive my driving license and searching for a job. In the meantime - slowly continue to prepare for our wedding day which is in the end of October.

I do hope that one day you'll share the picture of big happy family with new member
Have a safe and easy delivery!
