The moment has finally come! Just received via mail a Notice of Action, HOWEVER, this is a courtesy copy (nobody requested it) while saying the official copy will arrive soon. So APPROVED, PD August 9 NOA1 Aug 14 this notice date is February 28, so others early filers, you might be surprised and find this “courtesy copy” while waiting for the official notice coming up. By the way the receipt number is still not working! Now I wait the official copy and on to NVC next month!

The fact that they haven´t assigned yet doesn´t mean that TOMORROW for example they assigned it! Think about that, visualize the adjudicator reviewing your case with a good face and stay calm! Attraction Universal LAW! Everything is going to be ok!

as the bottom paragraph says.  you need to go now to the CEAC page
there are 2 fees to be paid now
the affavit of support I 864
and the DS 260 visa application
after paying these 2 fees (and when it says paid on the site) you will fill out the affadivit of support online
and he will fill out the DS 260 Online
Not sure how you got to NVC if you did not submit all those items
and no,  do not send these to husband
they need to go in  1  packet to NVC with that cover letter (important)
he needs to also send you the 2 criminal reports from Morocco (a Fiche Anthropometrique and a Casier Judiciaire from the Central Police station at their place of residence) / you need all morocco documents in both Arabic and English
wirte me if you need more information

BTW  do not staple,  use binders or paper clips
on each and every page in the upper right hand corner put your new CSBxxxxxx number along with both your names and DOB's so no documents are lost
send these documents in the order as listed above with checkmarks in appropiate box

Yes, April 14 2017, but this was the update of December 31 2017, they are reviewing late June - July! Many approvals are appearing of late June and early July!

    Dear VJers,

I cannot believe that I get to write this post. Really! Visa approved, passport in hand and hubby just booked his ticket. In 2 weeks, we will all be together, finally! We did it, woohoo!

So stoked and thankful to you all. I know that the only reason we were able to move along this journey without major battle wounds was because of you all. If I could, I'd hug ya'll who have lit the way for us.

To the folks, with similar major "red flags" as ours, massive thanks for spending countless hours, days, weeks, years battling "the forces" and sharing your stories and knowledge here! I am eternally thankful to you! To the rest (moderators too!), thank you for keeping most of us hinged and offer your guidance and light. Thank you does not seem enough!

Now for folks going through tough Embassies like ours -- if you are just starting out, I highly suggest searching the VJ and reading for several months before delving into the journey itself. Then once the ride starts, spend more time on facetime (time spent together), be truthful on all your dealing with officials and the rest will work out.

Oooooh, what to do with 15 days while waiting for hubby?

Organizing cabinets, dressers and closets (gotta make room for him, huzzah!) Clean (hahaha!) Did I say organize already?
Thanks again, for providing this place, your guidance and your time! Wishing you all speedy visa journeys, peace of mind and total joy, in life and love!

I know it’s just exciting but also frustrating the 8 months waiting period. Probably mine was cashed today or tomorrow.  we are going to have similar timeline since we filed same day. Mine will probably go to Texas Service Center which is the busiest I think.

Some officers don't even give the chance to say that you can show docs.  It's at their discretion.  Do you have much knowledge of the Moroccan consulate?  Giving hope for a tourist visa here isn't very helpful.

Many people here on the visajourney forums have filed without a lawyer and have successfully been approved.  I've filed without a lawyer and our case was completed this week.

Visajourney is an amazing forum filled with information, guides, personal experience and tips including those that are country specific.  As long as you do ample research and prepare, you should be fine.  However, not everyone is great with paperwork or have clear-cut cases.  if you do not feel confident in your paperwork capabilities or have a complex situation surrounded your case, hiring a lawyer is always at your discretion.

    Best of luck!

In the open space available, simply type additional residence history etc. and then continue with the information.  Let them figure out what page it is, if they think they really need to.

You are referring to an I-130 form.  The same applies to the I-130a.  I-30 is not a meaningful abbreviation but we know what you mean.
