Still no changes to my case status or timeline (previously said March 2021 before disappearing a couple weeks ago), but I finally received my biometrics reuse notice on 4/18. There were no online/mail communications related to this, but I saw the notice sitting in the documents tab.

Congratulations!! Also a Lawrence field office applicant and waiting patiently for the interview notice to come soon. Good news to hear that they are doing same-day oath at the moment!

No updates for me after filing on 10/4, not even a biometrics update. However, my estimated timeline did change last week from July 2021 to March 2021. We will continue to wait..

The first concept you need to get your head around is if you earned no income in the US, then there is nothing to tax. No income, so no filing required for you whether you were a resident or US citizen or any other status. Your wife can file Married Filing Separately to figure the tax on her own income.

Option: You were married to a US citizen in the year 2017 so you can choose to file jointly with her. In that scenario, the worldwide income in 2017 of both is reported. That means your Jan-July UK income. It can be excluded using form 2555EZ. You will probably be surprised that jointly there will be less tax than if your wife files Married filing separately.  You can work it out both ways to make sure, then pick the one that means less tax to your household.

My interview notice came the same day as my EAD/AP approval notices, Nov. 29. The combo card arrived about a week later.

Green Card approved at interview today! 95% of the questions were the classic "are you a terrorist?" etc. questions found on the I-485, and then two additional questions; how we met and why we chose to settle in the USA vs the UK. That was it!

Received my EAD/AP combo card in the mail today, December 6th. Old style card, not the new one. My notice date was November 29th, and they mailed the card on December 1st. Case status still shows received, heh.

Interestingly, for those of you that use Informed Delivery; my Combo Card was sent with USPS Priority Mail, but it never showed up in my Packages or Letter previews; even today.

I am able to see the letters to be delivered on the same day and if I switch to the "Packages" tab, it shows me the packages that are yet to be delivered. Also shows the tracking numbers and the delivery date and previous packages already received. You should click on "View all mail on dashboard" in the link provided in the informed delivery notification email (if you have one) to see the "Packages" tab.

Honestly, it hasn't been working since March when most of us were waiting for K1 updates. No amount of service outages have fixed it, and to be quite honest with the current administration running DHS I doubt anyone even cares. Since  March, I've had a K1 approval, EAD approval, AP approval, and AOS interview scheduled, and not one of those things has shown up on my case tracker!

Just to follow up, I received my EAD and AP approval letters, while the third letter was my interview date for my I-485! I'm out of town for it but i'll likely change my flights to make it back.

Three letters from USCIS today according to informed delivery! I can make out the writing on one, which says "we have approved your application for employment authorization and advance.." - yay! But curious as to what the other two are! Any ideas?
