We were hanging in the January group but it got way, way  depressing so we joined the February group. Our NOA1 date was February 1 and we are still waiting for NOA2.  We got an RFE with an Aug 14 deadline.  Everything requested was submitted by early August.  The waiting is terribly stressful but we take some  comfort / solidarity with others still waiting like us. neil

everything was great at the interview, no hiccups and i was told i was approved. i have no clue for the long wait. but we will see...ive grown tired because i was prepared for a week at most but now each day just seems longer. 
 
this is what it states: case created 24th july and last updated 24th july
Your visa case is currently undergoing necessary administrative processing. This processing can take several weeks. Please follow any instructions provided by the Consular Officer at the time of your interview. If further information is needed, you will be contacted. If your visa application is approved, it will be processed and mailed/available within two business days.

It's normal procedure, I don't believe u have anything to worry about- yes some people go through AP for longer than others, unfortunately I seem to be one of them. (See signature) 
 
i had had the same experience as ur fiancé and received a white paper stating I was approved etc. but I am still on AP, tmr will be 17 days  and there is nothing u can do but wait..

My UK steps after NOA2:
 
In this exact order:
Started calling both the immigrant and non-immigrant NVC support lines two weeks after NOA2. Called every two days until we were told the case is received Called the NVC line that said our case was received every day until they give us a case an LND number. We waited until the case checker above said "READY". https://ceac.state.gov/ceacstattracker/status.aspx We completed the DS160 online and printed the receipt/confirmation. You need the receipt/confirmation/AA number later. We Scheduled the medical over the phone. You will pay 300 pounds when you go to the medical. We submitted the readiness form online. We scheduled the interview online. this is when you will pay $265.00 and you will also have the option to pay for the carrier service at the same time (18 pounds). Make sure to schedule the interview 2 weeks after the medical because if the medical results are not at the embassy the day of your interview it can cause delays. Printed all of the confirmations as they are needed later. You need your LND number, AA number/DS160 confirmation number, your passport number, your personal info to schedule. Choose option 2, the K option when asked.   We DID NOT need a letter from the embassy to schedule anything nor did we need it at the interview.

Also: Consulates are not all equal. Bring this stuff anyway, but you don't need any further proof of a relationship, like photos, etc. They don't ask for it in London. In fact, it just seemed like a formality that my fiancee had to go there at all. Seems that everyone gets approved in less effort than you would put into walking up to a bank teller and withdrawing money.

Yes, you might not hear anything from the Embassy.  Some people receive what's called "Packet 3" from the Embassy, some don't.  If you don't, you can find the information on how to proceed here since your status on CEAC already says Ready:

Sorry that you had such a delay in waiting, you could have probably had your medical and interview already by now.

and I owe all of you a great thank you for all the chats, advice and information throughout this journey.

Congrats! For me it was submit ds160 and pay visa fee>schedule interview >schedule medical(in trinidad the medical could only be scheduled if u have a interview letter from embassy)

That is indeed all we can do, is be there for each other. This process has taught me so many things.
What it feels like to lose hope, then regain hope, then lose hope, then regain hope, round and round. How to provide support to my fiancee. That my fiancee and I are committed to each other and strong. How to curse at a mailman. How to stalk a mailman. How patience tested on a timeline affects a human being's sanity in general. How to get in a fight with my fiancee and recover. What it feels like to being lied to over and over by the government. How my coworkers react to me yelling at them on the phone when USCIS has me in a rage What it feels like to have my ex-wife schedule a meeting at Starbucks with my new fiancee and me attempting to control how we discipline the kids. It was the ultimate in cringeworthy. I tried to hide, but I was sitting right between them. And so many other weird and wonderful things.

Agreed.  If someone can learn from my experience, then I see that as something positive out of this.  Seeing the delays that were happening with the December and January filers, I was hesitant to order the police certificate because I had no idea when NOA2 would happen for us.  Once we had NOA2 we should have ordered the police certificate but I still delayed because of the stories I had read here about month(s) delay with some cases getting to/out of NVC.  Still lesson learned even though I will never have to live through this experience again
 
And I realize this is only a minor hiccup and I shouldn't be complaining, especially since there are many here still waiting on NOA2.  It's just really hard to plan going through a process that has no rhyme or reason to it and the best we can do is to be there for each other and learn from others experiences.

The case was approved on 7/24 and she had the visa in hand less than a week later.  So everything is ready to go.  Best of luck to everyone still waiting.  I did buy the flight before visa in hand but the embassy handled things well after interview and shipped it via DHL

Finally got my NOA2. I hope the rest of you still stuck in FEB get yours soon. It has been a headache!
 
So it looks like now I have to: 
1. Wait for NVC to give me my case number
2. Once case number has been obtained, schedule medical exams
3. Fill out and send DS-160 to fiance
4. Schedule interview

Well, I woke up this morning and checked my emails. Looks like i have a letter from homeland security. IM HOPING THIS IS NOA2! GDI
