Just an update, I was able to submit an inquiry today. It's strange how I wasn't able to when I tried Wednesday and last night. I did slightly change the wording on the message I put in the "Last Action Taken on Case" field. Not sure if that had anything to do with it? However, a request has been generated and I was given a referral number. Says I should expect a response by 8/19/2017. 

What? That sounds crazy. Shouldn't matter request or not if you're up for approval they should approve you. Something really needs to be done about this process. 

I started at six months and got the response I'm still within normal processing time. Now I'm at seven and a half months and still get that same response. Other poster here pd in January submitted one the other day and a service request was generated. Yet, I have December pd and I'm not being allowed to submit one?

Nothing makes sense about this process lol. Some get lucky others don't.

Yes, I know this is a huge relief for you and your husband.  All the waiting and unknown is enough to drive a sane person crazy. Hopefully the next stage will go quickly for you.  I am at 221 days as of today. Just trying to keep a positive outlook.

But you couldn't have known that, thats the point, its an unknown and there was strong talk about immigration, although by the time the cases are actually reviewed it probably wouldn't have mattered about filing then.
 
And whether is it was a cause for concern or not, it doesn't change the fact that people did rush to file for that, I believe it was a mix of this and the fee increases.
 
But anyway, regardless we know we have some extra time to wait.

Agreed. I'm preparing myself for denial as I know they are really strict on it. But since the senators office offered to help I'll send in my proof. However, hubby and I are prepared to keep waiting, sigh

I wanted to file in November but had just come back from visiting my hubby so funds were low. So I waited and did it in December before the fee change took effect and Mr. President took office. Yes thanks Trump, sigh.

I was actually curious a while back and checked on the USA job site for government jobs and guess who was hiring for immigration services personnel???....Nebraska. They need to add some extra eyes and hands to help clear up the backlog

According to my app, they have started processing some cases for late November. There were a couple with PDs of Nov 21. You should hear something soon. But then again this process is not concrete. There are still some with earlier PDs waiting. 

Oh, I'm not sure I'm using Android version. I'd assume it would be similar but hmm maybe not.

Thanks a lot for offering your thoughts and yes that was the thought I had too. Calling too doesn't help as the agents aren't able to provide much more information and I feel that the turn around for the enquiry form is long too. Yes still with range of the timeline and hoping it comes through

Hey there were approvals for many november fillers but I guess what they trying to say is that we should not worry about November fillers because they still didn't finish all October fillers....so yeah lol
