After 191 days of waiting (we are December filers), we are finally approved!  While it seems that I am behind most of you, at least it is our turn! 

Hey Everyone, 
 
We got our K1 visa approved at the US Embassy in London last week, on my birthday!  Just wanted to write to say thank you to everyone who ran the scans and for all the support during NOA2!
 
I've blogged about my entire experience, I-129f, Medical, Interview etc (link is in my signature!) Obviously some of it is London Embassy specific - but if there is anybody that needs any info, feel free to have a look at it, I've been as detailed as possible, if you've got any questions I'd be happy to help!

Just a little update ... I finally received my passport with my visa inside !!! 
I'm super excited !
Probably going to buy my plane ticket tonight 😍

Yesterday my case said "Administrative Processing" & this morning it says "Issued" Thank You God! 

The case number will be stated in the package 3. You don't really need the case number now since the main point of knowing case number js to track whether the petition is ready to fill out the DS 160 form. 
Congratulatuon on a speedy process! 
I just scheduled my interview appointment in July. Phew..

So Today On June 23,2017 my fiancé went to Kingston Jamaica embassy & was approved!!! My heart is pumping fast omg ! 

GOT MY CASE NUMBER! DAAAMN
 
And now I go back to sleep. In Germany we would say what a hard time giving birth but I'm sure that's not the right translation 😂😂 thanks to all for listening to my drama and frustration. Hope it will be send to the embassy soon

Just wanted to let you all know that yesterday, after exactly 5 months from our noa1 date, my fiance had his interview and was approved!!! 
 
I am with him now and we plan to travel home to the states together next month. No more distance!!!!

Hey everyone, it has been a while now since I was last here. I had the interview on Wednesday last week and we got approved. The highlight of it all was the fact that the CO officer never asked to look at any evidence i had carried. She simply interviewed me and approved the visa. I call this an highlight because I had been told that since am from Uganda, an African country and therefore high fraud, and since I had met my fiance only once after we started dating, the first time of meeting being in 2012 when we simply became friends, that somehow she had to be there at the embassy! But I made it thru so easily. Thank u everyone esp the guy who started the original thread ( I have forgotten his name since he disappeared), thank u Ash for starting part two, thank u Geo for keeping us sane when there were no approvals coming thru, and thank u everyone who has contributed on this forum. God bless you all

i hope everyone here's going well! we're about to submit our adjustment of status later this week. got married May 19 and it's just been a busy storm of events for the rest of the month xD

My fiancée, the beneficiary, got a call from the Post Office in My Tho. It was the Packet 3.

OMG I finally have my MTL number! NVC received my petition on the 14th and sent it to Montreal on the 16th! Finally. 
 
So weird though, I called on the 16th and they told me still not received...

Wow your explanation works like magic I tried to click on "work/education previous" again and it went straight to the right academic page  

I think depends on NVC reps, your answer will be different. You can try to call back to NVC 0888 again to check your case meanwhile the other line is busy. Or you can try to call back the 0700 line again... 
I called the 0700 line at the very early opening hour or almost closing hour to avoid holds and queues.

Our NOA1 was January 13th.
i have a feeling within the next two weeks it will be our turn! Fingers crossed!
We are expecting an RFE, but will be delighted when we get it! 
Does anyone know a rough time frame of how long the process takes after approval? I want to start looking at flights! Haha!

For my case, NVC sent a snail mail to the petitioner's address. You can call to NVC toll free to ask for your case number after your petition reaches to NVC

Ughh thats alright; just will take a lil extra time. You will need to send inquiries to the correct Embassy and  request them to contact wrong embassy to forward your petition to the right one.

I have hear of a VJ member with a similar case to yours. He had waited exactly 6 weeks for the petition received at NVC. It was frustrating for him. He kept calling NVC to ask bout the case for 6 full weeks. He has no idea tho... 

This issue happens quite often lately with NVC. You should check out this thread to get some ideas  
 

hi again. Just like Geo said. I made a request to change embassy. 
You need to do it quick. Send an email to NVC at asknvc@state.gov with subject like: ATTN PI SUPERVISOR SUE- CASE #- EMBASSY CHANGE. For body: given info of petioner's and beneficiary's (full name, DOB) and Explanation why you request of change in embassy.
Hope you can be able to change it before it leaves NVC
